It seems like the majority of the stores in Gettysburg are just carbon copies of each other, but this store exceeded my expectations. A couple rooms have a selection of artifacts for sale, but a large portion of this museum consists of interesting artifacts from every major conflict the US was involved in since the Civil War. From a blood-stained cut-out of the couch Hitler comitted suicide on, to the wallet Lincoln was carrying during the Gettysburg Address- this museum will keep your interest for at least 40 to 90 minutes.

Unbelievable collection of military artifacts from the Civil War World War 1 World War 2 Korea and Vietnam are exhibited here. Friendly staff. Also other presidential photographs and items are on display. A trip to Gettysburg National Park without visiting the museum would definitely be in incomplete trip. I go there now every time Im in town. I found out about it from the show American pickers.

I stopped in there for the first time today and I very much enjoyed the WWII items. However when I asked the guy about some of the items for sale he was not that polite and treated me like a child. Im disappointed because I was really interested in buying from him however I will no longer be as I dont tolerate people treating me in such a rude manner.

The museum was small, a bit disorganized in the displays, everything crunched together, and was absolutely glorious! Not just a museum for the battle, or the town, or even wars in general. Had some great pieces attached to Elvis, JFK, Marilyn Monroe and others. It is a free museum, so consider donating or making a few purchases while there.

Its not just about Gettysburg! Its the biggest little museum in town, with artifacts ranging from Civil War to modern times, autographs or writings from every US president,an extensive JFK collection, even President Eisenhowers golf clubs! And its free too! Well worth a visit,I never miss a chance to drop by when Im in town.

It may seem small from the outside, but dont let it fool you. This museum is packed with incredible artifacts, ranging from the civil war to recent years and everything in between. Some of these artifacts are for sale, so you can have your own piece of history

Really enjoyed the short time I was in the museum. A lot of fun and interesting history going on in there. Make sure you donate to the museum, since it is a private collection, and free to the public. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

While the museum name denotes only its civil war connection, the truth is there is much much much more. A room dedicated to WWII, with Eva Brauns personal effects. A room dedicated to JFK. Much much more. Visit this place.

Strange funny place. A little bit of everything. Nothing much makes sense in terms of how all these artifacts ended up under the same roof, but a great place to stop in and look around.

Really odd place. I have an extremely hard time believing any of the artifacts are authentic. In light of that its still worth a visit.
