The beautifully designed and managed grounds with spectacular sculptures was well worth the trip from Baltimore. The current indoor exhibit was very unusual and the docents were very professional and helped you explore the exhibit without having too much history and and more about the feeling of the exhibit which relates to a sense of architecture and visual perceptions. Lots of places for outdoor photography throughout the grounds but no photography permitted indoors.

Wonderfully serene setting for compelling post-WW II modern art. The current exhibition of pieces by the team of Peter Fischli and David Weiss is extremely approachable and thought-provoking. The personalized nature of the tour makes the entire experience much more enjoyable than the usual madhouse of big museums. It was easy to reserve the visit online, though the museum is only open Wednesday through Saturday.

I am going to keep this short. I am almost speechless. What I experienced at Glenstone today, will stay with me forever. My horizons have expanded. This is a jewel in the art world. I got to twirl below a suspended, stuffed rat! Need I say more?

What a lovely, serene place, so conducive to acquiring an appreciation of thoughtful post-modern art driven by mathematics and philosophy. Interesting, accessible docents. Beautiful landscape and architecture.

I liked the Andy Goldsworthy "permanent" piece at Glenstone contemporary Museum. Its made of earth & clay, with fibers of hair in between. This ball has its own house.

Amazing for a private museum -- if you like post-modern art. But good luck getting in. Its very private.
