the facility was stunning and everything i could have dreamed of, but as the day got closer things seemed to fall apart, we were informed that a HUGE building was breaking ground 1 month before our wedding (we were perviously NEVER told about this), and on the day of the wedding not only did Karol and her staff make me feel like everything was my fault, i didnt get any family pictures (Karol kept pulling my family away to complaint or help her with something) and wasnt allowed to set up until 30 mins prior to the wedding starting because of the sprinking outside, Karol also had a hard time meeting the brides needs, i wanted the dance floor in a different spot (she argued with us that it wouldnt look good and where she always puts it should be where it goes) and my chairs angled but because i was sprinking i didnt even get a dance floor and becuase i wasnt allowed to set up early i couldnt have my chairs how i wanted them, along with that her staff was eating our unopened food and drinking our beer. i felt that our wedding was getting in the way of her new building being built. Muliple guest confronted me and stated that she was rude to them, and was asking people to stay off the grass ( who has an outdoor wedding venue and then tells guest to stay off of it?). she even had the nerve after my wedding to say qoute " it was the worst wedding i have ever hosted". This was suppose to be my magical day and it was to a point i married my best friend and got BEAUTFUL pictures i will charish forever but the experience was horrible, and unfriendly. This facility is one that i feel you need to look there a glass wall through, look at how beautiful it is but please look from a distance. again it is a beauiful facility but managment just wasnt to par for what a wedding should be. best wishes

This venue really is STUNNING for a very private, picturesque event. The landscape is manicured to perfection. The building is really a terrific size and layout for an intimate event.. large enough for room for everyone but still small enough to provide picture-perfect spots. We attended a wedding yesterday and was truly blown away by the setting. There was plenty of parking too and the grounds were immaculate. There were a few downsides just to be aware of... any dusk event may have bugs so come armed with bug spray or repellant (just be aware) and its very easy to miss the small opening at the driveway entrance ~ dont blink or youll drive right by it! Plus, it can be a bit unclear as to where a guest should enter ..... so when booking, you may want to bring signage or something for clear directions of foot traffic. The food we had was also truly amazing (not sure if the venue limits to certain caterers). Just be aware, the proprietors are on high alert to take good care of the grounds and facility - so keep kids in tow or else they will get an earful (Even well behaved children). This level of attention to detail wont go unnoticed or unappreciated though! Its a truly beautiful space!! Id use it and recommend if needing a venue close-ish to Eugene. 5 Stars!!

Deep Woods Events is just that. An amazingly beautiful ,customized to your wants , 8 acre setting of tall trees, baby deer, beautiful landscape and indoor and outdoor facilities all 10 min. out of Eugene. Indoor n outdoor bar facility, beautiful brides dressing room , excellent caterer, arbors for rustic weddings with logs off a birch or white pillars for a more formal look, dance floors undercover or on the lawn, and room to mingle and take beautiful photos.Truly they have a great eye for what looks good. I would listen to their recommendations. They will help you customize your wedding exactly how you would like but even better. Its just that kind of place. You wont be disappointed. Its only a 10 min drive from Eugene and 2 minutes from Fern Ridge where you can rent a sail boat for the night and/or 7minutes to the airport to head off on your honeymoon. Personally, I love it & highly recommend.

well where do i start. The place was beautiful great for pictuers and the karol puts off that she is oh so helpful in thr first meetings you have with her......BUT as my wedding day got closer she became less and less helpful and started to push us to have the chairs and everything else the same "because thats how everybuddy esle dose it" well im not every buddy. if you strive to change things she starts to become rude. then during the wedding she started to complain and be rude to my guests, oh and the "bartender" she provided was serving minors beer and wine. (my 17 year old sister went up to get some lemonaid and he hands her a beer "here you go hunny). if you own a venue no gest should know that you are there. before i go off into a 15 page rant i will just stop and say beautiful venue but as beautiful as the venue is......is how bad the owners are

We recently got married at Deep Woods and it was perfect. Karol is absolutely amazing. She cares so much about her customers and goes so above and beyond. I was continuously surprised by how helpful she was through the whole process. She cares so much about her property and making sure it is exactly what you want for your event. Her attention to detail is so relieving when you are already balancing 1000 details in your head as a bride. I wish we had another event coming up so we could work with her again! And the venue is just breathtaking. Our guests cant stop talking about how beautiful it was! I cant say enough positive things about her and Deep Woods :)

If you are thinking of getting married at a venue that is absolutely beautiful then this is the place! We had about 150 people there in late May this year and it couldnt have gone better. Karol the owner is AMAZING. Let me tell you. Every detail was perfect! We showed up the day before and she had spent hours getting it ready for us. If you have any hesitation let me assure you, your wedding will be perfect!

A stunning facility set back in a beautiful park like setting. I have attended a couple of weddings and have been amazed watching the reaction of people when they walk to the back and see the beauty. Comments like Wow! I never would of thought this was here! Stunning sunsets cut like diamonds between the tall timbers. Karol and her staff will make your wedding day everything you ever dreamed of.

I was hired as a dj for a wedding here. The staff was great. The grounds were stunning. The reception hall was set up with a delicious buffet dinner. The acoustics were good. I had a wonderful experience. My favorite venue. If I were getting married, this would be the place- without a doubt.
