Charged tasting fee after spending $200. Erath has some great wines - this I will not dispute. The tasting room is beautiful and the countryside is breathtaking. However, this is the only winery Ive visited in all of Oregon that charges a tasting fee after purchasing several bottles of wine. We walked away with four bottles of wine, two of which were $70 a piece. When it was time to pay, we were stunned to learn they were charging both of us (my husband and me) the tasting fee. When we politely asked if the fee was waived with purchase, the woman rudely snapped that they do not waive tasting fees with purchase. For this reason, weve never been back.

This is one of the more commercial wineries in the area, with several wines that are widely available at grocery stores. The tasting room is nice with a pretty patio area to sit and enjoy your flight. They also have snacks available- like cheese and charcuterie plates. The tasting is seated, but not guided. So they will bring you a tray with 5-6 small carafes of wine and the tasting notes, and leave you to it. So its relaxing but not very educational. The staff was friendly. The wine was fine, but not great compared to others we had been to. The property is pretty and a good spot for some photos. Worth a stop if you need a bit of a break and a snack.

Best stop of the 5 today. This was a great place to stop, we had some really good wines here and the prices (<$50) were the most reasonable of the day. The wines here were much much better than the other place that had $50-$100 a bottle wine. It was a slow day, my niece is a member of some club of theirs, so service was OK and tasting was free.

Recently spent a great afternoon enjoying the fine wines at Erath winery tasting room. Bought several great wines. Unfortunately, I left my new jacket at the tasting room. I am so grateful for Patt. She promptly mailed my jacket, and didnt even charge me the $10 shipping cost. Thank you Patt. I will be back again to thank you in person.

This is a great little winery with a small tasting room. Most of the wine we took home from Oregon came from this winery. Didnt try one that I didnt like. We visited during the summer so we sat outside which was wonderful. The tasting room is surrounded by great landscaping which really adds to the ambiance.

We had an amazing "Art of Pinot Tasting" with Patt who was very knowledgable without being pretentious. Her pride in the company and the wine that they produce was evident. We joined the wine club because the wine and experience were that good. Looking forward to our wine shipments!

Enjoyed a wine tasting with my coworkers on the outdoor patio where we overlooked the vineyard. Their wine is reasonably priced and tasted Very nice. We brought our own cheese crackers and fruit to enjoy with the wine. I would definitely come again.

We loved this winery! It was a beautiful fall day, sunny and 65 deg and the view was breathtaking!! We could have sat here all day. And we loved the wine. The 2015 Pinot Gris was my favorite.
