Can I give this ZERO stars. Horrible custom experience. The owner was so rude. We turned up with a baby who had needed to be changed and placed the diaper in a diaper bag. I asked the woman kindly if there was a trash can that I could place the diaper. The women told me that if I put the diaper bag inside the wine tasting room she would have been furious. Then she marched me up to the mens bathroom to throw the diaper bag into the trash can. It didnt stop there. Then she asked me throw the trash from the bathroom where I placed the diaper into another trash can in her garden shed which I could not find. (Actually I put the diaper in the wrong trash and she made me remove it and place it in the correct trash can). She watching me like and eagle. I was so upset to be treated like this before I even stepped foot in her tasting room. I confronted her after I came back and told her this was the worst customer service ever. She was rude and had no care for our family. She also said if we sat outside she wouldnt serve us. So I got my family and left. Didnt even spend a dime. Good riddance for trying to sell this winery. I would never give her a cent.

I had no idea theres a vineyard on the island! Stumbled upon this place by accident during our drive around the island in search of things to do/sites to see. This place was pretty dead when we were here even though it was a sunny day on the wknd. Inside the tasting room we were greeted by a friendly lady who offered us tastings for only $5 per person. The vineyard is known for its white wines where the grapes are locally harvested, however, the reds all come from Eastern Washington. Outside the tasting room is a small church and a covered seating area. Also outside is a row of small tractors on display. Everything was going well until my mom approached the fence that surrounded the vineyard. She stuck her arm through the fence to try and get an unobstructed shot and, suddenly, whack! She was electrocuted by the fence! Who puts up an electric fence these days!? Well, I didnt have an issue with that, however, I did have an issue with the tiny, barely readable yellow sign on the fence that indicated the danger of electrical shock. Actually it was more funny than serious, but a huge FYI for anyone who visits!

So much squandered potential. Delightful historic setting overlooking the luscious pastures of Mona the island camel. The outward charm swiftly wore off with our first staff interaction. Monosylabic, disinterested answers to our initial questions swiftly escalated to direct condescension and rudeness, with a preschool-esque scolding for leaning back in an outdoor chair a particular highlight. General grumblings from the particularly acerbic and mean-spirited woman behind the counter about how the awful tourists had the gall to hang around at the place continued throughout our mercifully short stay, which was capped off with a non-negotiable and unannounced 20% credit card surcharge. Didnt your mother ever tell you to carry cash on holiday? the acerbic barkeep scolded once more. No she did not, but she did tell me not to treat your paying guests with utter contempt. Sadly, the vineyard is best avoided.

I dont drink wine, however I will speak based on the 4 other people that I was with. The wine tasting was very good and service was friendly, it was $5 for 3 samples. The people I was with bought 3-4 bottles, and the vineyard had cold ones available. They also bought a full case and had it shipped back to their home in Michigan so they must have been quite impressed. The store has a variety of wine accessories, bags, glasses etc. Even for me it was an interesting stop, just to experience and see the process.

People who ran the place were rude to us, dismissed our questions about the vineyard, basically mocked us when we asked if they were cash only and then surprised us with a 20% credit card surcharge. Wine was meh.

Such a beautiful vineyard with decent wine, however horrible customer service. The man working the wine tasting room could not have been more disinterested in our existence. So sad.

Stay far away if youre just visiting the island. The woman behind the counter was vocally upset to have tourists at the winery.

So nice. Great wines. Joined the wine club and hung around drinking great wines. Very impressed.
