Brides and grooms please do NOT, under any circumstance, choose this place for your wedding reception. We had to set up everything on our own, including linens that were filthy and wrinkled, and all the tables. We brought the linens home and washed them and spent hours steaming them. Many of the chairs for the tables had holes and stains on them or were broken. Things got progressively worse from there. On the night of our reception we arrived two hours early and the air conditioner was not working. It was the dead of summer and the temperature was 88 degrees in the room and the air conditioner was set at 65, prior to our 150 guests arriving. The air conditioner never did work the entire night. Over half our wedding party left less than 2 hours after arriving because of the heat in the room. Not one person danced to the DJ that we purchased because it was so hot inside. It gets better. We bought two kegs from this venue for a 600 dollar inflated price. We ordered two different types of beer, so guests could have their choice. Well at this place they only had one working beer tap. They told us we had to finish one keg to move onto the other flavor. Unbelievable!!! Needless to say that didnt happen and guests didnt have a choice and we wasted a keg. Other than these major issues, the laminate flooring is bubbling up causing trip hazards, the ceiling vents leak water, and their were bugs in the windows. For a day that was supposed to be a special day, this venue ruined it for everyone. We attempted to contact the owner John through phone calls and emails and received zero correspondence. We will be filing a small claims suit shortly. Please stay away from here!!!!

This place is falling down fast. The greens and fairways were good, they were about what you would expect for the money paid. No problem with that. Whoever is managing the place, however, is to blame. No rangers to speed up play on Fathers Day Sunday, 2013. The person they said was a ranger was a 20 year old kid that didnt do squat. It took my foursome 3 hours and 10 minutes to play the front 9. That was after waiting 25 minutes past our tee time to tee off. We decided to play the front again because it looked open. Same 9 with no one in front of us, we finished 9 nearly 2 holes ahead of pace. I saw a beverage cart one time during the whole round, and the range balls I purchased were ALL caked in mud. The range is mats only, with no way to gauge your distance, as you are hitting off a cliff. The cart paths are crumbling apart, absolutely terrible. My take on this place is that the management is trying to cut cost at every corner they can, because they arent getting the business. My advice to them is to shut down maintaining multiple practice areas, close the iron range and just have one practice green and the wedge range, bring on enough rangers to speed up play, and you might survive. The way it stands today: STAY AWAY from this place because there isnt enough staff to make the experience worth the money. 6 hour rounds are not acceptable.

My family, friends, and I have been playing here for years, and have always enjoyed the course and staff. Being from the west chester area, this has been our home course of choice for its convenience and competitive pricing, and have played here multiple times a week for years. Course is nice and usually pretty well maintained. I would love to leave a better review, but due to recent ownership change, and huge price increase, we will unfortunately not be playing here much going forward. The new staff seems less interested in engaging/helping customers than previous staff members, and has started charging ridiculous rates, as high as $50 on weekends, which is an absolute joke for the quality of course. Im sorry, but there is simply no reason that Beckett should be $10-$20 more expensive than Shaker Run or Walden Ponds (both of which are nicer courses). Until pricing becomes more realistic, Ill be content with a 20-30 minute drive to play at a course that actually values its players/patrons.

I played the Beckett Ridge Country Club course this past weekend, and while the course was decent, I would probably choose to spend my $55 elsewhere. For that price, I wouldve expected an experience that lived up to the "Country Club" title. Perhaps I was expecting more, knowing this was once a country club, but instead, I would say the facilities and surroundings were average at best. The clubhouse was the most noticeable, looking like it had timewarped from 1979 with staff that I would say was not overly helpful. (The starter with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth was a nice touch as well.) The cart paths were also memorable as most were cracked, crumbling, and full of holes. Again, small details, but compared to other courses, just not worth the price. On the plus side, we had a two-some with a 7am tee time and finished in 3.5 hrs.

One of the more run-down courses around, while also on the more expensive side. I just played 18 holes where our cart (that was full of trash at the beginning) died on 17-18 after we pushed it through the hills of 15-16. We called at 15 and were told someone would be right out, then told they "forgot" after we walked back, and the owner had a sarcastic reply to every complaint we had. He gave us half of our money back, which was good, but put the total for the day right around where it should be for 18 on this course on a good day, not considering all the problems and poor service. As for the course, the tee boxes were torn apart, the sprinklers were on in the morning while there was standing water on many of the fairways, the sand traps were either full of water or as hard as concrete.... etc. etc. It was a bad day.

Staff here is rude and unaccommodating, particularly given the number of golf courses in the area and the general decline in courses across America. Would not provide any accommodation to a scheduling error I had made. Although within their "rights," from a "fair play" perspective, most other courses would have done something. Not unlike Petterson refusing to accommodate Lees mistake in picking up her ball thinking the putt was conceded. Just not right, and will not be coming back.

Ive wanted to play this track since I herd it went public seven years ago. Finally got a chance. We played 10:00 am on a Saturday for $49. The course was in great condition. The clubhouse and parking lot not so much. Large pot holes in the parking lot and the clubhouse was in bad shape. The toilet and sink were backed up. There were drinks and food for the turn and cart girls on the course so over all Im pleases. After all I went for the golf.

Im not sure what happened to this place but it looks like the owners stopped doing any kind of maintenance to the course about 10 yrs ago. The sad thing is it looked like 20 yrs ago this place was a nice up scale place. Today, its like its as if the population died off and you were the last person on earth and you wanted to play golf. Sad, just sad......and like a dummy I payed $30 for a round of 18.
