took my wife and 8yo son here yesterday. They are both learning and somewhat slow but, not too bad. ive been golfing for years and know to let others play through that are faster than our group. all that said here is what we experienced at this circus: we got hit into as soon as I pulled up to my second shot (hit our cart), had a little tiny guy obviously with a short man complex call the clubhouse and say we werent letting him through and we were urinating on the tee box. After we let probably 6 groups go through which was no problem we didnthe get to finish.... I will never spend money with them again in my life and neither will any of my family...it was a terrible experience for my wifes first ever round...the way everyone acted there imy totally surprised its public.

I played The Mound for the 1st time this year in our company golf league. Im 9 weeks into the league and must say this is a very nice golf course. Its a shorter golf course (if you have any length off the tee you will have a short iron to the green) and walked easily, however, it will also challenge you with its unique layout. Watch out for #7. If youre right off the tee, you have a VERY difficult uphill 2nd shot to this par 3. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is friendly, the course is well maintained, and the clubhouse is clean. And oh yes, the burgers are VERY good. Do yourself a favor, if you want to squeeze in a quick 9 and youre in the area, try The Mound.

I usually play over at Yankee Trace golf Club, but a friend of mine wanted to go to a shorter course that was a bit less expensive. For $27 I played 18 holes with a cart, got a 1/2lb burger, chips, pickle, and drink (and I might add, that was one of the best burgers I have ever had). GREAT DEAL! The course is 9 holes, so you just play it twice if you choose to play 18. You can play from the whites one time and the blues the second time around. Very friendly staff, very well maintained course, and the rangers are out making sure everyone is enjoying their experience. I was really happy with the course overall and I have played there twice since.

Its a great place. You should have to use all your clubs. Friendly people (staff and other golfers) good price and YES the BEST burger in the Dayton area. Been going for a few years you can walk easy out there and post some good scores....its a winner.

The course was nice but every one else wasnt... the workers looked frustrated at us and we werent doing anything bad.... the park ranger was basically stocking us and watching us to do something wrong.... if you wanna golf go somewhere else.

The 1st and 2nd holes are steep but holes 3 - 9 are flat. Not a long course but challenging with small greens. Only 9 holes.
