I was quite impressed with the whole experience. A wednesday night visiting toledo, I walked inside not expecting much, but it was nice, with an updated feel. was greeted by a friendly, and handsome young bloke, who made me feel welcome. it was early so not very busy, but it was the music I was there for. The locals were a cool mix, lacking any pretension. Electro night Is new I guess, and the dj played a decent mix of dubstep, trance, and house, with several startlingly beautiful passages, and only a few dull spots. The space is pretty cool too, with good floor, excellent lighting, (bit heavey with the fog machine, but pretty with the lasers) ,good sound (only a bit bass rattley), and a lovely back patio that must be sweet when its warm. I was hoping for more queericity, and dancing boys, but I hear thursdays are the night. So as I have no past incarnation to compare to, I would say bretz is a pretty fine club, that I would frequent if I lived here. Cheers!

Bretz was amazing....about six years ago. You used to have to park up the street and around the corner to get it, but its really not that busy anymore. On top of that, the entertainment leaves alot to be desired. Messy sweaty Queens like four days out of the week....and its always the same losers. Sorry, but im pretty much over Bretz. They used to have totally hot strippers, what happened to that??? They used to have a karaoke night, what happened to that??? ill tell you -- drag queens that suck up and get shows handed to them, while all other forms of entertainment mysteriously disappear. OVER IT!!!!!!!

I love to dance and this is the best place to feel relaxed, go to have a drink, dance the night away. The people that go here are very nice, super friendly and the music is great. The staff here, not so much unless if you include the bartenders. The bartenders are great especially if you keep tipping them, the bouncers here need a new attitude adjustment, but other then that, I love this place!

Bretz is simply amazing. A lot of really cute guys like my crush, DJ Mark Cotter, parties here and dances like Michael Jackson across the dance floor. Its a great place to pick up a trick or two. Plenty of tops, bottoms a couple bears, occasionally a drag queen or 2 but mostly a lot of hot college age twinks. Ill see you hot boys at Bretz!!

The best of Toledo. Rated the best Gay bar by the Toledo city paper 2014, 2015, 2016 and Best place to dance all night 2016. Great drinks. Great entertainment. And great music.

The hours on this are wrong. We are closed throughout the week and open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10pm-2:30am. I have no idea where those hours came from.
