I recently had my two daughters birthday party there on a Sunday afternoon. I called three weeks ahead of time and reserved three lanes and paid my deposit for the birthday party. On the day of the party I arrived at 12:30 and our party was scheduled for 1. Coming in I spoke with two employes at the front desk, a woman with short brown hair(who was very nice) and there was an older gentleman who I later learned was named Chris. I asked the woman if my bowling time would start once all the kids had arrived (10) and she told me yes. Well at one with only 3 kids present, Chris came up to me and told me I needed to put all the kids names into the computer now. I said OK as I was putting them in as the kids arrived I just went ahead and did it anyways. Well at 1:15 while I was away from the lanes he came and started my bowling time without even informing me!! I felt it was very rude and I understand about time limits but I should have been told considering not all the children were there and the ones that were were not ready. This is after I was told the time wouldnt start until all the kids had arrived. After that things started to go ok, until we started ordering food. I had food orders for 10 children, including pizza, chk nuggets, and corn dog bites. Well other adults in my party were ordering their food and it was coming out before the food for the kids. I had also ordered a large pizza and pitcher of pop with the kids order. I placed the food order at 1:20, keep in mind the adults had been ordering after me, after I had to ask where the food was and kept being told they were working on it. By this time our party was almost over, the kids were all whinning they were hungry and thirsty and I had no interest in eating after all that..when I went to the desk to speak to Chris, who never once came to my party and appoligized for the delay, he said it was made a priority that my food be out asap. I just laughed because all this time he has been standing at the desk doing nothing! I told him this was poor service and I wanted some kind of discount and he asked me if I wanted to cancel my food order!! I said um no,I have ten hunry kids right now and do not want to cancel my order! It wasnt until about 2:30ish when our food came out. They also forgot about other orders that had been paid for!! Another thing that really upset me was my friend was standing in line at the food counter to place a order herself and overheard the workers talking bout ME and my order saying "yeah were working on it and shes been bi**ching this whole time". How dare they say something like that. Very rude and unprofessional. It took everything I had to not storm up there and give them all a peice of my mind. Now our server, Amanda was wonderful. She made the experince better by being understand and apologetic. I felt bad for her to have to work under someone who did not care about the business!! And as I was paying my large bill for the party Chris then appologized for everything, ha a little late buddy, my pizza was given to me for free which I ended up taking home whole and feeding most of it to my dog. I was also given 4 free "practice bowling" cards whenever a lane is available. Which I will never use because I will never come back to the Huber Heights location again. Which I came out of my way to come too. Just hope managment gets better and kitchen staff learns how to speak while they are at work. Will not be wasting my money on another party here!!!!!

My wife, daughter, and i went to the Grill House for dinner before bowling on 7/7/15. I had looked at the menu prior to going and thought that it looked pretty good. We were extremely disappointed with the food and service. When we first walked in, the decor looked nice, clean, and not what we expected. That is where the good experience ended. We sat down and no one approached us. I had to stand by the bar to get a server or anyone to acknowledge that we were there. We first ordered our drinks. The beer (Hairless Hare American Ale) was good, but had no head, which indicates not a very clean glass. We ordered chips and guacamole and when the guac arrived, it had a lot of brown spots throughout. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich. The chicken was green! My wife ordered a burger, which was extremely dry and the only moisture in the sandwich was from the tomatoes. The burger also had a fried egg on it, which was over cooked. My daughter ordered the kids grilled cheese. The cheese was barely melted and the bread was barely toasted. I ate only two bites of the chicken parm and my wife only ate about one bite of the burger. Since I was very hungry still, I ate a couple of bites of the burger, but found it was super dry. When I complained to the server/bar tender/whatever, she said that she could only give us a 40% discount as the manager was not there and she was not authorized to take anything off the bill. When I asked her to call the manager, she tried, but was not able to get a hold of her. The server was very rude, claiming that I had eaten the burger (my wife and I only ate about three to four bites). The server also claimed that the green in the chicken was from the marinade! We will NEVER go back to that restaurant and are considering not coming back to the bowling alley period due to the experience. Wish I could give less than one star!

Have never had a good experience here in several visits. Our last visit, they had ONE person taking food orders, filling drink orders and bar-tending for the lounge ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. She was in no particular hurry. We waited in line for 20 minutes to place a food order. When I went to pay for the games, a bespectacled man about 50, was as rude as he has ever been, and he has been rude before. Apparently because they have a captive audience, customer service is not a concern in Huber Heights. I spent $39.50 for 2 games each for my five family members. This is the most poorly managed and under-staffed bowling alley in the Dayton area. We will not be returning.

I went with my three children on a Monday. I ordered food from the grill and it took 40 min to get my food because "the cooks didnt see my order" and on top of that the last frame froze up and since league was coming in we didnt get to finish. I spent $50 which could have been spent at another bowling alley where Im sure would have been a better choice at this point and time and I can say it will be a while before I come back. I went in to purchase a new ball. I knew the pro shop had a lot to get done due to the fact that the league was starting that same night. The pro shop attendant told me he would do his best to get it done before he left so I could get some time in with the ball before my own league starts. He did in fact have the ball finished for me the same day. I had a great experience with him. Thanks a lot for getting things done in a timely manner ! Give that man some air conditioning !!!!
