My ex-husband and I played this course many, many times for years during the course of our very happy marriage. It is one of the unappreciated secret courses in the Western Reserve area. The beautiful rolling hills, the bunkers and woods with the occasional deer peering out to check out why you have disturbed its morning nap make it a perfect walk between searching for the usually errant drive. There are also carts. I, with the help of several lovely other golf friends formed the Aurora Ladies Golf League, way back in the 1980s. We had such fun and good competition. The club pro helped us every step of the way and the sun shone every day. Memories are made of this. Only a course like Sugarbush, pristine in its ageless beauty has it ALL !!! Pat Young Brisbin

My foursome has been visiting Sugarbush two or three times a year, for years. It is always a great experience. The greens are in great shape, the lay-out is challenging but fair, there is enough water and woods to keep you on your toes, and there is enough topology changes to make a beautiful course. If you havent played there yet, make a point to get there! .

One of Portage counties best golf course. I am lucky to live in Garrettsville and to be able to enjoy this course. 18 and a cart prices are on the high end but worth it.

Drive past this golf course every day. My son has been wanting to go golfing for weeks now. Finally got to take him was told they dont allow kids not even if I paid for him.

great greens along with some narrow and long holes mixed. along with a reachable par 5 here and there.it really is a hidden gem.
