i would describe this course as interesting at best. most shots off the tee are blind so that adds a bit of mystery. the part of the experience i disliked most was the course layout makes it hard to find the next hole. i drove the cart down numerous paths to find i went the wrong way to the next tee. the most difficult part of the course was finding where to go next and the clubhouse does not offer a map of the layout nor is there any signs of where to go. i did bring this up to the person manning the clubhouse so hopefully this changes but i wouldnt recommend this course if you have never played it before until it does.

I along with many buddies love this golf course. We drive about an hour to play Turkana. This is not your average boring course. The first time you play it can be a challenge as there are some blind shots etc. Second time you know where to hit it. But the fairways and greens are fantastic. I see someone reviewed that it has small greens?? The are huge!! This is one the the most fun courses you will ever play!! I think some dont like it as it has all kinds of elevation changes and side hill lies it you hit into the wrong spots. 5 stars all the way.

The course is expensive. Especially for being so young. Most of the tee shots and second shots are blind shots. The fairways and greens are average at best. Like I said, for the price I expect more. They have one day a week when they run a special I believe. Thats the only day Id play there and thats only if nearby courses were busy.

Its not my favorite course in the area; small greens, blind drives, bizarre routing, all make for a generally unpleasant experience. There are simply too many holes where I wonder what the architect was thinking.

Have played here several times and enjoy this course very much....about an hour drive for me to get to it but its well worth it

i like the cheap sand they put on the greens this year, its more like pebbles. it may go away by mid summer.
