My Wife and I werent expecting such a horrible experience at this property on our Valentines get away! The Bar waitress serving with unclean glasses and was very Rude and unprofessional when we requested clean glasses. To suggest the glasses were not dirty just spotted. She proceeded to attempt to pour up the drinks in the very same filthy glasses. When we asked her if she would drink out of them she simply grabbed a paper napkin to clean them. We declined the service all together! Food and beverage manager did not handle the situation any better. Needless to say, we knew that this property havent had the pleasure of serving African American customers. We felt the tension throughout the place. Its a simply Disgusting feeling in 2015 to realize people still are not treated equally. It really doesnt matter if you pay at full price...with some people skin color matters more.We left feeling shocked and confused , but proud of ourselves for refusing to be treated in this manner!

I dont know her name but the lady that worked the check in desk on Sunday night (July 16th) was fantastic. She was cheerful and super helpful in explaining things. I came down later coming from my room and asked if she by chance had any plastic forks because my take out didnt come with a fork (left a review for that one too) and she pulled one out of a desk! Aside from that, the hotel was great. My only gripe is the building itself. I couldnt even find any interior stairs on the right side, not sure if there are any even on that side. The stairs outside my room led my outside. I chose to take the stairs because one elevator was out (leaving only one operational elevator in a 5 story hotel). The elevator was pretty slow as well. But besides that the hotel was great, good breakfast and fantastic staff, you probably know which lady Im referring to.

When it comes to charging your credit or debit card PLEASE understand that you may be profiled. If they feel that (due to reasons that they will not define) your payment may be an issue they take it upon themselves to charge you daily or for the complete stay. Charging per night is usually reserved for cash customers not charge card customers. The problem this created for us is that we not only have pending charges for each night of our stay, the hotel also charged my credit card the total amount of my stay. Now 2 weeks later I have pending and billed charges that equal my stay. The hotels position is that its up to my credit card company to release the pending charges and my credit card company is telling me that its the Hotel that has to send through a release. So if you think you may fit the usual profile dont stay here.

I had my daughters 16th birthday party there in the ballroom. It was an amazing event. We did a Harry Potter theme so there were a lot of special requests I needed. Kayla (the events planner) made it all happen. She was great to work with and as much excited for the party as I was. The chef did an awesome job on the special order food (meat pasties and pumpkin pasties along with "butter beer" and pumpkin juice). It was all wonderful. Everything turned out so much better then I had even hoped! The service staff was very helpful. My only minor complaint that I heard from a couple people was that they took the food away a bit too soon and cleared some dishes that still had cake or drinks in them while kids were on the dance floor. But everything else was amazing. Thank you guys so much for helping me throw the best party ever!

My stay at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers was excellent, my room was big but my sheets were dirty and smelling the conference room was great but the air conditioner in both my room and the conference room wasnt cool enough so we sweet a lot. I will recommend Holiday Inn to others. what I believe is that if I dont let you know the challenge that I experienced you will not be able to fix it. My special thank you to Lazaro the shadow driver, excellent personality, positive attitude, very courteous. The breakfast was excellent we enjoyed. Very clean hotel. Thank you very much.

If you are looking for an amazingly clean and bright place to stay, this is it! Super close to FGCU, the airport, as well as the highway. The complimentary shuttle takes you to and from the airport, as well as to and from the town center. ALL of the staff, from front of the house to the back, are very loyal. They take care of the hotel like its their own home, and it shows! While youre here, please take time to spend a Friday night in the restaurant, or out on the patio around the fire-pit! Enjoy! (I did)

5 mi utes from airport. Perfect stopover or long term. Stayed one night due to a flight delay. Hotel is immaculate. Rooms are clean and roomy.lots of storage space . Hotel gets 5 stars room gets 4. Only because theres no terrace and gets no ventilation. It has a resteraunt and bar, also theres also lots of good restaurants nearby walking . Mall is also close by. Pool is clean, with a nice park behind it and a small lake. Staff was nice and friendly. Would def. Stay again

The food decent for hotel. Interesting menu choices. My grouper sandwich wasnt the greatest but the chowder was good. Lydia was my bartender/server and she was friendly and optimistic. The hotel pool doesnt get a lot of sun. Rooms are nice. The hotel is located near shopping and walking distance to other restaurants.

Very nice newer hotel located conveniently to the airport, dining, highway, and major shopping complex. The service in the hotel is accommodating and the staff is very friendly. To top it off the restaurant / bar in the hotel is very good. Food specials different nights of the week and the quality is very good

Excellent location. About 10 minutes from the Airport and located in the middle of a Gulf Coast Center. Tons of selections for dining and bars. Shuttle available to Airport as well to anywhere in Gulf Coast Center. Drivers were fantastic, especially Luther. Next visit must stay at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers.

Was there for just an interview with another company but the lobby was tidy and well kept. The staff was hospitable and informative in helping me find where I needed to be. Would definitely consider staying at a Holiday Inn next time Im out of state after this experience.

The Holiday Inn was located nice and close to the airport. Our flight arrived around 11pm and a quick phone call to the front desk and a shuttle was on its way to pick us up. Breakfast buffet in the morning was a wonderful surprise. I would stay here again.
