Really like the theater. Small and very intimate and you never have a bad seat. Parking close the the theater can be a bit of a problem if you dont get to the theater about 30 minutes early for a performance as the theater is located in a neighborhood. The performances are nice showcasing a lot of local talent. This is affordable arts entertainment for the whole family. Easy to meet the cast after performances and they seem to enjoy meeting the audience afterwards.

Ive been coming to this theater for over 20 years, first as child, then as an adult. Always a great show. Theres a different play offered every month over a wide topics, my favorite are the large scale outdoor plays in the amphitheater which often have over the top props like moving full-scale ships, etc. A great way to spend an evening.

Sadly, I attended a memorial service here but it was absolutely beautiful! Hundreds of people attended to celebrate life surrounded by beautiful gardens and stone work. Hardscapes meets softscapes, perfectly blended. Parking was brutal but, as previously stated, there were hundreds of attendees.

A wonderful, intimate theatre experience. Not a bad seat in the house. The organization has powerful resources that bring talented producers and actors to the stage at a small fraction of the cost of professional productions. Highly recommend.

One of the greatest theaters in Raleigh to go to for their plays. They have amazing volunteers, staff, and we cant forget the actors they have chosen! Family friendly and great fun. I really recommend coming here to see a show!

I love this place because it is supportive of the Arts for youth. My daughter was so inspired and encouraged in her gifts as an actor as a writer and so looking forward to many many more camps

The rose garden was in full bloom so we strolled around before the performance. The ushers and box office people were very helpful. Also, the play was musical, colorful and well acted.

Great place to volunteer; the occasional good show. RLT tries hard to entertain, and are good at mainstream, family stuff and exposing kids and teens in the theatre.
