Finally another reason to give out five stars! Dive bar, gay bar, whatever. Smokeys is a super casual, friendly little joint with a nice long bar up front and pool tables in back. A slightly older crowd. Drinks are reasonable and the music is hip. Plus its been around forever. The bartender knows how to make what you want to drink, and youre not going to get mauled by the village people. So relax! Just take a peek in the door and youll know in two seconds whether youll want to enter. Sitting at the bar for a drink and checking out the decor alone is worth a trip. My boyfriend and I had fun spending a couple hours getting tipsy before we were off on our next adventure (on foot of course), leaving the merry parade behind. But well be back again for another round.

Im a straight guy. I got introduced to Flex through a co-worker who is a drag performer for Flex. I mainly go on Thursdays now and Ive never been dissapointed. Ive made friends with other performers, some judges of the Legends shows, and a lot of other people. Its always been a blast to go. Everyone thinks that if youre straight and you go to a gay club other guys will hit on you, thats not completely the case. Sure Ive had some drag performers and some other people tell me Im cute and other stuff but it doesnt bother me because its all about enjoying yourself!

Ive been a handful of times and each time have had a blast. Its cash only with an ATM if you forget. When its slow the staff has always been super friendly. When it gets packed be ready to get bumped into and have a few drinks tipped on your feet. Its a tiny bar in the basement of a building.

Im rating a one. Im not sure why me and a few of my friends supposedly got barred for life. Im not going to miss the place at All. Beer can be purchased anywhere. And they will lose not only my business but many others. Sorry Flex. Hope you can with stand losing $$$

This place is fun on karaoke night and trailer park drag night, but can get kinda scary on bear nights. If your into the kinky, leather chaps, nipple ring crowd, then you may enjoy it. The ceilings are very low, and it feels very dungeony inside, so theres that.
