I played this course yesterday, Aug 30, 2016. I was on a trip so had no expectations of grandeur or manicured fairways and smooth greens. This courses condition is abysmal! The fairways are overrun with crab grass types clusters of weeds, off the fairway is a mix of bare ground, exposed roots and stranger weeds. They charged $37 for non card holder out of state to play a 3 hour nine hole round with a shared cart. The greens were recently punched and in horrific shape. I suspect they were bad even prior to the required aeration in late summer. I suggest one look elsewhere unless in a pinch to swing the clubs and you are not going mind the poor muni conditions this course offers.

I played today Sunday 8/21 around the 10am. As an out of towner, I was charged $64 for my round. The course is in atrocious shape. Their bunkers are infested with bees to the point where you need the rake to get your ball back and drop in a different part of the sand. Minimal water coolers and the cart paths are shot. Can play two rounds where I live on MUCH better fairways for that $64. Never again here

Very picturesque public course on the Great South Bay. Pretty flat and open with 2 long part 5s and a tough par 3 with water. Forgiving for a duffer like myself. Can be buggy so bring bug spray.

Excellent layout, amazing views and the staff is phenomenal. Its in good shape for a public course and very inexpensive.
