Every year, I go to Weed Orchards, and usually my husband and I have a great time! This year, we decided to bring our extended family, and were a little disappointed with some things. We wait for over 30 minutes to get the hot apple cider donuts that I told them about. Every year, we get them and they are piping hot. This year, they were stone cold. When I asked the girl if they had any hot ones, she said no, very nastily. We only waited 30 minutes because they were supposed to be hot. The playground was great! My nephew really enjoyed it. We didnt realize that you had to pay $3 to go in the corn maze. You have to pay cash, or go up to the front ( a long way up the hill) to pay by card. We went in the winery, which is beautiful, and ordered some Parmesan Truffle fries for $8. Out came a very small container of frozen fries with parmesan cheese sprinkled on them. You couldnt taste the truffle. Definitely, not worth $8. That was disappointing. Handmade candles in the winery smell so wonderful. Petting zoo and hayride were great. They no longer have apple baseball. This was a unique thing that Weeds had. They should bring it back. Thanks!

My husband and I have brought our 12 year old son apple and pumpkin picking here before. We have a 1 year old daughter now and cant wait to bring her next season. Today we decided to try the winery and cafe .... the pizza was great. ( I recommend the Weeds White pizza), the atmosphere was great and the wine was great. The staff seemed busy with regulars as no one actually seemed interested in helping us, our buzzer never went off for our food and we went got our own food when we saw it in the window and was not given plates or napkins etc...lady was friendly but just not focused on certain customers... We purchased food, wine and baked goods... but overall good place. Also its close to home and we enjoy the farm atmosphere, scenery and goodies.

“I hate Minecraft. I want to kill it with fire.” A friend was ranting to me in an email about her kids fighting over the game and running into problems on a multiplayer server. She’d well and truly reached her limit, and was thinking about banning Minecraft from her house altogether. She’s not alone - there are loads of parents who are baffled, frustrated or tearing their hair out over their kids’ passion for playing in this blocky little world. Which is a shame because the game is full of a lot of really positive things and can be a wonderful experience for kids.

We visit pick your own orchards in the Hudson Valley every season and this year found a gem in Weed Orchards. This time we explored around Marlboro in the Dutchess county area. Weed Orchards is a beautiful orchard and winery. Very friendly place with a fruit and produce selection that is AMAZING! If you love peaches and nectarines like we do you will be in heaven at Weed Orchards. We picked apples, peaches, nectarines, plums, egg plant, zuchini, cucumbers, chillis and tomatoes. After we sampled some wine, a perfect day trip - recommended, well be back soon.

My 3 and 9 year old boys loved it. We picked Fuji apples, pumpkins and bell peppers. Kids loved the corn maze and ofcourse the fantastic playground. Food at the eating area was fresh, we tried hot dogs, chicken fingers, pizza, French fries. Hard cider was refreshing. Restrooms were very clean. Most of all the scenery is beautiful. Definitely will go back as our new Apple picking orchard.

Went apple picking for the first time and enjoyed it. Good selection of apples and veggies. During the season it was crowded and the wait times for food was long. Prices were cheaper than some of the other farms. The drive up there was nice as you will be going through several winerys where there always seems to be a tasting taking place

Awesome place we go there every year they have huge pumpkins and delicious apples and always a large variety of both. John, his family and his entire crew are always around and willing to help with a smile. Just look for the guy driving the four wheeler and flag him down and he will point you in the right direction

Great staff, best counter food of any winery. They have a wonderful array of musicians on the weekends. Nicole Weed and her staff are warm, professional and eager to make your visit enjoyable. If you are from out of town and looking to pick apples and enjoy a nice lunch, come here!

This place is great! they were closed when we showed up, but the owner was out in front and still gave us a small tasting and sold us some of his delicious cranberry cider! I Highly recommend giving them a try! they also have live music on the weekends with great food and local local beers/wine.

My Fiancee and her Aunt began visiting Orchards last year, and this decided to visit Weeds. What a beautiful and Majestic place. This place looks like a post card with its beautiful apple trees of various types. We all loved this place so much!!!!

We love this place. We just came back from your annual peach picking and are going back in a couple of weeks for more apples. We have been coming here for about 5 years now. Its our favorite, we love it. You wont find better peaches anywhere.

Staff was friendly, however wine and cider was sweet, synthetic, and ultimately undrinkable which accompanied by the blasting country music was off putting.

Love this place. They have a huge variety of apples. They have a winery and a playground next to it. Perfect to take kids and also have some fun yourself.
