My son recently had his wedding ceremony at the visitors center and although it looked beautiful we definetly over payed. To get the room for a 4 hour block we payed $350.00. fine . then she offered a clean up fee of $50.00 so we wouldnt have to deal with it after and could focus on pictures etc...well we payed the fee and while we still had guests there and hadnt even really begun the pictures she came in and got not only my brother-in laws from out of town to start setting tables up , she also had the father of the bride folding chairs and most of the ushers helping ! She had them set it up for her next rental! I didnt know that till after we left! I was not happy with any of that ! They didnt know I payed her for clean up, she had no right even accepting their help ! A professional would have told them thanks but we will take care of it ! Unfortunatly I was a bit preoccupied at the time and didnt really want to get into it with her in front of the guests! SO DO NOT PAY FOR CLEAN UP !!! You and your Guests will end up doing it anyway!

I helped with a bridal shower for my sister at the Endicott Visitor Center and cant tell you how disappointed we were. The gal who runs the Community Room showed up to let us in and then disappeared. We didnt know how to control the heat, so we sat there and froze. Also, the Visitor Center was locked up tight, so none of the out of town guests could see the mansion which they had looked forward to. She finally showed up after our party was over. The kitchen was none to clean either. All in all a lousy experience. We wont return.

No liquor for an office holiday party? Not much of a venue then if you asked me. We went for a Christmas party. I fell in the ice outside and the gentleman there actually came out with a salt shaker to prevent others from falling. Seriously. Also tripped on the brick floor inside. Not foot friendly there at all!!

The museum is a must see. The banquet hall is very elegant and a bargain.
