Finally got all 4 of my kids together for an evening. Money is limited so I did all the research n determined it would be cheaper to get a lane for n hour n try n squeeze 2 games in instead of paying the same price for 1. In light of this I decided to order food first n eat as to not be distracted by food for the precious hour. So I ordered plenty of food for everyone n we all ate till we were full. I went to get the lane n just from the back n forth noticed a less a minimal standard for customer service. None the less I ignored it n went to my lane. The supply of balls is HORRIBLE none the less we went through and FINALLY found what we needed. Started to bowl n watched the counter on the screen that always tells u how much time u have left. 30 minutes in were in the 7 frame n I see clearly were only gonna get 1 game in, but whatever, it is what it is. With 15 minutes left our balls stop coming back. As I WAIT IN LINE to even tell them this our lane goes dark. I then tell them whats happened and the man says "your time starts 5 minutes after you pay for the lane." Even though the counter said we had 15 minutes left n theres no other signage to indicate anything else and even though we were in the 9th frame Glenn (laughing his way through the explanation) seemed to take great pleasure slowly going through the receipts, finding mine and showing me the time I had paid. Well *%ck you very much Volkers and especially %*ck you Glenn. I spent more than I could afford with you and you wouldnt even allow me and my children to finish our game. Go here if u wanna drink play some darts and talk to a friend. If you wannna bowl, go to a place that appreciates your buck. Customer service and even bowling has left this place behind.

I dont have the heart to give it a lower score, its relivly reasonably priced or atleast comprablely priced to other bowling alleys and the staff is generaly pretty nice. However, the alleys are constantly breaking down. It has a divey atmosphere which could be charming and over looked if it werent for the equipment being so badly out of date and not being well manantained. Exspect very long ball returns because they are down amung other issues. After a couple month long leauge id say 1/3 times we had serious issues with equipment not working causeing delay and frustration.

We just came here for my sisters birthday and when she was 15 they allowed us to bring 2 cakes in with us and bowl. Today when we came in a older woman with short blonde hair before we even got to the register area rudely told us we cant bring a cake in an we have to pay $20 to have the cake there . I asked her if the rules changed and she continued to rudely tell us we just cant have the cake there or we have to pay. I will not be coming here again.

Bowling alley was great. Bar service was horrible. Had to send my boyfriend up there to get my drinks because he got better service. 3 months later and NOTHING HAS CHANGED. FOOD IS STILL GOOD BOWLING ALLEY IS OKAY BUT BAR SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. NOT TO MENTION THE BAR TENDERS GIRLFRIEND SITTING THERE SCOWLING AT EVERYONE

A definite staple. The prices for food, booze, and the game are amazing! The place has a little of everything, arcade games, secluded bar, jukebox machine, and of course bowling! Pro-tip: they kept all the "light balls" behind the shoe rental counter.

I have been bowling at Voelkers in a league for a few years now. I love the local bar atmosphere and feel everyone is friendly and happy. Go Voelkers for being around forever and hiring awesome bartenders!

The employees are great and obviously like what they do. Really like the feel of this old-time bowling alley. And sure, after all this time, the place needs big updates re: bathrooms, etc.

Voelkers is a decent old-school bowling alley. They are opened till 4am just about every night of week, with reasonably priced bowling.

Straight out of 1983. Sewer smell in the bar area. Not very accommodating or straight forward with pricing.

Not clean, food is disgusting and the service needs to be a little friendlier. Needs a lot of work.
