I wouldnt even give this place half a star. I booked 3 lanes a month in advance for my 7 year old bday. When I paid and took my party to the lanes , the lanes were filthy and dirty. There was popcorn in front of the lane and spilled juice everywhere on the floor. When I told them about it they said they will send someone. My daughter the birthday girl was a size 12. When I went to get her shoes they told me they didnt carry her size. They only carry size one and up which was a lie because my niece was wearing a size 12. I couldnt believe the way I was treated. They told me have her wear whatever shoes she had on. Which were booties and my other niece had to bowl with crocks on. The people they got working here lack customer service skills and were very unprofessional and unaccomadating. Why not ask me before hand what size I need for my party ? Why not check to see if your giving your paid customer clean lanes?? They need to close this piece of junk down . Then the so called manager walked by swinging cash in her hand asking me to leave . Really ??? After they messed up. I have my whole family there 2 cakes, 2 babies, 6 kids,l. How dear they do that? Really horrible experience. I dont recommend this place to anybody. Please take your money somewhere where they actually value and care about their customers. Its not that hard to run a bowling alley. Just have clean lanes and available shoes !!!!!! Dummies !!!!!!!

Solo Flyer

I went for a birthday party. Never even knew this Bowling Alley was here. I have passed by this area hundreds if not thousands of times and never knew they were the next 2 blocks over from a friend who lived in the area up until a year ago. Maybe my friend didnt care for bowling or didnt know Melody Lanes was here either. Well anyway, standard bowling alley, greasy fried foods and good times. The bathroom was dirty dingy side (I want know why woman dont know how to hover & aim right into the bowl instead of peeing all over the seat like your something is wrong with you!!!) And why the rest of us my deal with your nasty after you have finished and walked away. The lanes are decent. Music is a mixture of Pop (Rihanna, Beyonce, etc), Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock. Balls are various weights, we all searched for the ones that were good for us.

First time visiting and didnt get a very warm welcome from the guy behind the counter. It felt like we were bothering him by asking questions about pricing options (paying per game or per hour) and there wasnt anybody behind us. I would have rated 2 stars at this point but then the Bowling was so much fun and we had a great time. The place was clean but the Bowling balls are super dented and you can hear it as they roll. The arcade was small and there were 2 games that were not working properly and one that was completely broken. Although we got money back for the games that were broken we were able to enjoy a couple of games. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a couple of games bowling, just needs a little better interaction with their clients especially if they are first timers.

We got there and were told to wait 15min for a lane. Thats cool, until I made the foolish decision of trying to get a drink while waiting. The angry old man at the bar scolded us for asking for a menu, then scolded us for being 22. Great, so we left the bar to continue waiting for our lane... Only to hear the staff screaming and yelling at each other for what seemed to be routine lane checks and customer requests. These people have no respect for each other, themselves, or their customers. Boycott this place and go to Manhattan where you will be treated (hopefully) like a human. Every drop of business that these sycophantic snot-nosed crooked people get will only fuel their disgusting ego and hurt the universe. Hope they learn to become better people.

The bowling and the bar here was pretty decent.. but because of the constant interruptions on the bowling and not only on just ours, Id have to mark this with a one star. The service was terrible on the grounds of servicing for our loss of time due to the mechanical issues from these alleys. The clerk behind the counter informed us that nothing can possibly be done under these conditions even though we paid a good amount for our party, and no one would obviously sit and have their money stolen from in front their faces. This place was the first time and will be the last time of me entering the premises unless they shape up their establishment. Hopefully others view this review before venturing over towards that locale..

The staff there were horrible the way the treated the costumers was rude and unacceptable. A group of children went At the bowling area were buy the snacks at of the machines, and one of the staffs got angered by another child doing something that didnt involve the snack machine but money. Thus as a result of the stuff getting angered he shuts down the snack machine. I find this extremely upsetting, concerning that the school properly informed the amount of students attending and the staff not being able to assist the young costumer in the best manners. If accepting the job of having students at there place they must have the proper staff doing the job.

Simple, slightly grungy bowling. Definitely gets crowded with birthday parties and such on weekends, but weve never had to wait with a smallish group. A few video games in the back, a decent snack bar with burgers-and-fries kind of fare, and a bar for the adults. We have seen people of all ages and walks of life here, its a local business and we take my son whenever we have an hour or two to kill in the area. The lanes take a lot of abuse from balls that are treated more like shot put, but they have some great birthday party packages, and the lanes have optional bumpers for the gutters throwers among us.

Fun place. Ive only been there once, but I certainly plan on going there again soon. It was quick to get a lane on a Friday afternoon. Ten-pin bowling was new to me (Ive only ever done candle-pin) but it was fine and I learned that there are two different weights. And, after accidentally giving my 4-year old the 14lb ball and having it not quite make it to the pins, I found out that there is a lighter, 8lb ball. Learn something new every day. Anyway, highly recommended for anyone in the area and also anyone travelling through the area. And also people who are not in the area, but want to go bowling.

Lets face it.bowling it fun no matter what but the atmosphere and service affect the experience GREATLY. it was small, tight, full of kids, and trashy. The staff didnt wear a consistent uniform so it was hard.to find them. The lands kept breaking down and area was aess after a birthday party clwaewd out. There was no sense of urgency or regard for appearance. I wouldnt recommend this for a group event. Maybe just a low key night where you arent expecting great service, food, or atmosphere .....just bowling.
