We had a small group participate in a VIP tour conducted by Charles the owner of Paumanok. It was a wonderful experience to listen to the owner of the vineyard talk about starting his hobby and growing over the years. He explained the biology of the plants, and the techniques to grow and harvest. After learning all about the wine making process we enjoyed a bottle of blanc de blanc on a private balcony overlooking the vineyard. It was an awesome day. Highly recommend for anyone who has done all the basic wine tours to experience something truly unique.

Worst experience at a vineyard to date! The entire staff were extremely rude and obnoxious from the time we walked in to the time we left. We should have walked right out after the first rude comment was made. Never would return to this vineyard again. Im actually upset that I even spent $15 at this establishment. This was supposed to be a great experience for my best friends 40th birthday and it was tainted by the staffs awful behavior. The only exception to the experience was the lovely guy serving oysters. He was great!

We stopped here just before closing time over Memorial Weekend. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the wines and the vineyards history. I sampled the "festival flight"; the semi-dry riesling, in particular, was fantastic. Very nice outdoor patio overlooking the land. Overall the wine tastings were fantastic; we ended up purchasing 4 different bottles! Would definitely recommend their wines to friends & family in the East Coast area (not as widely distributed elsewhere).

Consistently the best wines on the North Fork. At least 4 wines every year that are each better than literally any other wine from any other winery in the region. Chenin Blanc and Semi-Dry Riesling are almost always great. Not much seating but very pretty and quiet. They have been getting a little snobby and more expensive, but given the quality of their wines, theyve earned it.

What a great vineyard! And this is coming from a wino. Loved their Festival Red blend so much that I bought a bottle. Great staff -- great deck to drink on -- loved their wine a whole lot. If you are on Long Island and looking for a place to stop for some tastings dont hesitate to stop here.

Very open space, but could use more bar room. The tasting was pretty lovely and I loved the oysters on a half shell outside. There was a lot of hype for this place, but it wasn’t as impressive as all the magazines wrote about. The wine was decent, but I wasn’t blown away by any of them.

Beautiful view of the vines in the outdoor area. Big wooden tables to enjoy a nice afternoon. There is also an indoor area however I dont believe there was seating. Not one of the largest or best wineries but quiet and had a decent selection. Wouldnt mind returning.

Ive never heard about NY wines and now Im fond of them. Quite an experience. Dont miss it. Antonny did a great job helping us tasting 4 whites and 5 reds. We choose 4 and bring a bottle home. Id like to bring all of them, however no room in the luggagge.

Im not the one to critique wine (very good by the way), but I will say the staff was very friendly and suggestive. The grounds are beautiful and there is a nice deck out back from which to enjoy it all.

They have some beautiful views and very friendly service, but it was packed when I came, their tastings are priced on par with Napa, and the tasting flight I had was at best mediocre across the board.

Rude staff. Terrible service. Was offered to try a sample of 5$ a glass wine and accepted and then was charged 12$ sampling fee plus the 5$ glass of wine. Absolutely ridiculous.

Charles, the owner, is very knowledgeable and a great guy. Massey was also great. Take VIP tour, its well worth the extra cost.

The wine was excellent at this small vineyard. The server was very knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.

Best wines in NoFo. A place for serious wine enthusiasts, not those looking for music or entertainment gimmicks.
