I am not a frequent reviewer so forgive the clunky format. What an amazing place filled with character and an incredible staff. My wife and I just spent the weekend at the Inn and enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend the Sojourn Cottage for its privacy, comfort and spaciousness (2 fireplaces, super soft leather chairs, King Size Feather bed and a well placed hammock to hang out in a read- you need to see it) I cant decide what we liked the best - the relaxed vibe, bike trails or the food so Ill lay them out for you. The relaxed vibe: There are no TVs on the property and although they have WiFi - we never asked for the password. Great opportunity to unplug and unwind. Although I think they were full over the weekend - it felt very private and low key. I spent about an hour on Saturday after a long bike ride just hanging out in a adirondack chair watching the wind blow what ever was growing in one of the fields by the large barn- highlighted by lots of other wildlife and the 4 resident sheep. (Please note - lots of deer running around - Drive Slow on your way into the area) Food: The dinner recommendation was superb (The Inn at Phillips Mill was just minutes away) and the homemade snacks and gourmet breakfast at the Woolverton were awesome. The breakfast is multi-course starting with fresh baked goods then fruit. I selected the Eggs Benedict done with Smoked Salmon and the best hollandaise sauce I can remember (Which was very lucky because I forgot to order it on the side). Bike Trails: Bring your bikes! The Woolverton is just across from 70+ miles of the most scenic bike trails that follow the old D&R Canal and Delaware River - we rode between Frenchtown and New Hope stopping at several small towns and villages along the way. The Woolverton provides indoor storage areas making it easy to use them daily and they even helped me hose them off after some off trail riding on Sunday. A perfect B&B Experience! - We will be back.

We just spent our honeymoon at the Woolverton Inn and it was PERFECT. We could not have asked for a better all around experience. From the moment we walked in still dressed in our full wedding attire and Mario insisted on bringing us champagne and a delicious cheese and fruit plate to the beautiful bike ride along the canal to the amazing food we had for breakfast and the amazing accommodations like our two person bath tub and our steam shower- it was just wonderful! The atmosphere at the Woolverton is historic and romantic, classic, and quaint, there are antiques and books and paintings everywhere and every detail adds to the overall experience. The owners were so friendly and helpful suggesting the perfect path to take on our bike ride and the perfect restaurants to dine at in the evening. We will be going back to Woolverton the first chance we get!

Wonderful place to lay low when needed. The staff was very friendly and gave me and my girlfriend our space. We stayed in the Garden Cottage which was a seperate quarters from the rest, a lil more on the pricy side but well worth it. The whirlpool bath was perfect for 2, the bed comfy. We overslept and missed breakfast. Mary was kind enough to call and offer, our choice of meals and even brought over to us. The main Inn is very rustic and has lots of history. Open to us all no matter what time. And dont forget to say hello to the sheep on site. Very friendly, wont bite and love a good scratch behind their ears. I definitely plan on coming back to get away from it all.

Never stayed at a B&B before. This place was absolutely beautiful with the most gorgeous views of rolling hills from our room, including a view of sheep and goats! The service and food was top notch. What you see on their site is what you get. The area surrounding is beautiful and seems to be a favorite for biking as well. Thank you again for everything! We did have an issue with a couple bugs that came in through our screen and we just shut the window. The room started feeling warm and we spoke the one of the employees, who immediately turned on the air conditioning!

I am a B&B junkie. I have been to so many but never felt the urge to write a review till I stayed at the woolverton inn. The place claim to be a luxurious B&B which is not the case at all. The place is an average B&B for an outrageous price tag. I paid $335 plus taxes for a room that is worth no more than $120 in any B&B. Their website uses photos that make you believe you are in for a treat. Reality, however, is a different story. The room are average or even below. The breakfast was nothing special at all.

This is truly an excellent inn. (I cannot help but think the one-star review in this space is fraudulent or the writer is entirely clueless.) Great location, excellent accommodations and amenities, wonderful ambience, wonderful breakfasts, charming innkeepers, helpful staff -- everything one could want in a country inn. Weve stayed here annually for 5-6 years and have never been disappointed. A great place for an escape. Not cheap, but a very good value for the money.

This inn is definitely an escape from everyday life. It is right down the road from New Hope but I felt like I was in a whole new world. I booked one of the private cottages behind the gorgeous main house and it was the height of comfort and luxury. The grounds are extremely relaxing and the breakfasts were great.Take a bike ride down the towpath along the Delaware River with a dip in the water on a sunny afternoon and you will be in heaven.

The Woolverton Inns Balustrade Room was fantastic. The fire place, massive bath, balcony and King-size bed all made our stay more than enjoyable. The service was excellent. Breakfast, delivered in room, exceeded our expectations. Lemon blueberry pancakes for the win.

The Woolverton Inn is a very nice peaceful little place. One of the nicer B&Bs I have been to. Plus the area around it is really nice to walk around and site see. Not to mention the breakfast is extremely well done. A must see...

Such an enchanting B&B. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff was so kind. I was only there 2 nights, as part of a wedding party, but I cant wait to go back someday. Breathtaking views!
