I have been going to this place for years with my grandparents and to this day it still holds up to be one of the overall best and original restaurants you will find in South Jersey period. Their Chicken Parm is incredible, the chicken was larger than the plate! Their Service was always welcoming and they will treat you as if they knew you for years even if you never been there before. Their Atmosphere is in itself purely enjoyable and never dull. You can turn your head and always find something unique you have never seen before. I have been going for years and I still get surprised with some of the things they have. One of their great things is their little candy shop which sells anything from modern candy to the classics you grew up with. I would find some candy here that I could not find anywhere else, and I would make it the personal trip up just to get my hands on it again! The only thing negative I can say about this place is that its not open all year round. They close around fall and stay that way until spring. If they were open all year round I would have a chance having them for my birthday dinner every year! Try this place, even if its once!

A really eclectic place to eat with some of the most interesting dining rooms around. Most of the rooms had an old world feel with oak paneling and deep red leather seats and chandeliers hanging in the halls. There is plenty of stuff to look at from a mounted boar head on the wall to antiques everywhere. This is a kid friendly place with a kids menu, fun free items (which are included in the meal cost), and a candy store on site. The meals were very good with a medium range cost. We sat in the ac open porch but felt left out once we saw the other rooms later. The waitress was nice but the service was just OK. Our meal (two adults one child) came to $45. This is definitely worth a stop.

This place is nothing more, nothing less than average. The kitsch and brik-a-brake is interesting enough, but the food is absolutely average, and expensive. We had the flounder, stuffed shrimp, lobster tails and seafood medley. The food preparation is ripped from 1970s "fancy restaurant " operations : DROWN IT IN BUTTER. Everything we had was drenched in butter, therefore everything tastes the same. Not delicate or refined hands in the kitchen, to be sure. This was a once-off for us. Service was outstanding, by the way.

This charming, local favorite with oddity-museum-like decor is a summertime hot spot. I ate here this past weekend with my family (6 of us) and we had a wait a bit for a table, but it was well worth it. I had the broiled scallops with bacon special which was fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the Bloody Mary or Caramel Apple Martini while waiting at the bar, but stay away from the margarita-from-a-mix.

Waited 45 minutes and was seated on the bar area with not being asked if that was acceptable. Waitress must have been new as we had to ask for everything twice. In the middle of the meal, the bar singer started making it impossible to have s conversation with my dining partner. Cant see coming back.

I love that you get tons of muffins and bread, and their menu is huge! I love the odd decor and the stained glass windows - a somewhat dark but pretty low key atmosphere. The staff was great and even whipped up a specific dessert for our young child even though it wasnt on the menu

I was told by the waitress that the seafood was fresh not frozen well she lied it was frozen. I know this because of the taste and texture of the fish. My meal was horrible and I will never go back again. They could fool the torsists but not me.

Amazing! Weve been coming to Cape May for five years and had a tradition of going to the Lobster House. This year we decided to break tradition and come to Menz. From now on we are going to have a new tradition coming here.

This is a premier restaurant in South Jersey. They offer all types of food items and serve Jersey fresh vegetables with your entree. They have a childrens menu and an early bird pricing. Excellent in every respect.

Stopped here on a whim while on vacation. Was so impressed with food, service and decor that we returned two more times in ten days. The Lobster House just lost another steady customer.

Food is usually good. This particular night, they overcooked my steak, thankfully not too bad. Wasnt especially tasty either, little to no seasoning on anything. Still would go back

Very neat place. I would recommend checking out at least once (or more). My family goes once a year as a tradition. Weird stuffed animals all over. Somewhat fancy restaurant.

Weve always enjoyed the affairs weve attended here. Good food. If you like live music, Animal House provides wonderful entertainment. Has a dance floor. Busy at dinner time

Off season Sunday dinner. Service and entertainment great. Food portions declining. Crab Imperial dinner was 2 golf ball size crab balls, fries, slaw for 25$. Insulting.

Iconic South Jersey Shore family restaurant. When the fried Jersey Tomatoes are in season, all is right in the world. Definitely a place to bring kids of all ages.

Good food. Lots of variety. Good service, and decoration. Halloween decorations are awesome. But sometimes its cramped, and you might have to wait to be seated.

The most expensive mistake Ive made in awhile (140!). Stuffed shrimp is bland. I love when servers make recommendations, but ours was pushy to say the least.

We took an elderly, fussy eater who also enjoyed her cod. I had crab cakes and my friend had salmon. Great dinner and a bargain since we arrived before 5.
