I usually purchase the summer passes. This is the second year and I have come to realize some good and some bad things about this place. Usually, when I come for my visits I start off with the Splashplex. It is very frustrating when you get there, that it is over-crowded with school camps. Maybe they shouldnt have so many visiting all on the same day. I dont even understand how this qualifies to pass safety standards. Also, when there are no school camps or birthday parties going on, why are the tables still considered reserved? Seems like they only care about the school camps and not about the outside customers. The employees even look like were ruining their day. Now about the indoor activities.... My son loves the go-karts. The last few times he has been on the go-karts, weve had problems with other patrons not following the rules. Sometimes the employees will say something to that person but if the customer continues to break the rules there are no consequences. My son was harassed by an adult female that tried to ram him into a wall and then crashed him in the back causing him to hit his head because she didnt want my son to pass her on the go-karts. I also see a lot of other riders doing the same thing over and over again and the attendants did nothing to prevent this. I noticed that half the time the employees are not even watching. All they are doing is talking amongst themselves. Another experience I had was when I asked an employee for a first aid kit because I needed Band-Aids. The employee didnt have a clue. This is sad. I would expect, a place where it is overpopulated with children that can get hurt, the employee should know where the First Aid Kit is. Were these employees even trained before getting hired??? And last but not least, the Rides!!! I always have issues where one employee will tell me my son can get on a certain ride, and then another employee will say he cannot get on the same ride. Which one is it??? Once again, are these employees trained for their job because it shows to me that they absolutely do not know what theyre doing. Might I suggest color coded bracelets to let the employee know if the child can/cannot get on the ride. It will save us the trouble of playing these time-waisting guessing games. Besides all of this, this is a decent place for my children to enjoy their summer break. The pool is not that deep, and theres enough activities that my children love. This place needs a little tweaking and it will be a 5 star establishment.

Its my sons birthday party with 12 8-year-old guests (1 or 2 among them are 6). We almost lost two girls when the party was over. Here is how it happened. When parents dropped kids off at the party table, they were questioning the time to pick up the kids, because 4-6:30 schedule looks longer than FunPlex normal birthday parties. Our host is Ruth, who claimed to be 16-yrs-old and having been working there for 1 year, told all the parents to pick up the kids at 6:30 pm. But later, after we went downstairs to play, she told me that the pickup place is not the same as drop-off place. She explains that because FunPlex has "play-eat-play" schedule, so the pickup place cannot be at the party table. I said its confusing to parents and I required the schedule to be changed back. But she said all party tables are booked ahead of time, so cannot change the schedule. She promised to get all kids at the cafe at 6:30. So I sent messages to parents and announced that. The bigger surprise came later: it was not yet 6 pm, and Ruth said shed be gone. I said Im not comfortable with that plan. But Ruth said its been the common practice at FunPlex, and so far has not caused any problem. After telling all kids that they should be at the cafe by 6:30, Ruth was gone! I tried to gather the kids together at one place, but being unfamiliar with the exits of every game, the kids soon were running everywhere. The rest of the party was spent in knowing where everybody is. Though we tried our best, at 6:15, when I called security and required all kids of this party to gather at cafe, 2 girls were missing! All parents have joined in the effort to searching them. Thank God, after about 15 mins, the girls were found. Later, when I came out of the building of FunPlex, I realized there is no security to check peoples identity as they leave. Thank God that the worst didnt happen, but it could. I think parents should have been told to come before the free play. If they were told otherwise, then the host should be responsible to stay with the kids. P.S. I just got contacted by a parent that her child got injured during the meal on our birthday party. I believe there were time when kids were left alone at the party table. My husband was sent to take the gifts to the car, and then Ruth took me to pay for the party (wasnt my choice. I was so worried about leaving the kids alone that I didnt even question why they charged extra $100 after I added two kids).

I HATE this place. This is one of the worst places Ive been to. Customer service is the worst. The last time I went, I mustve dropped my phone somewhere. I called The Funplex and asked them if they found my phone. They asked what model it is, what color it is, and how the lock screen looked for the phone. I asked them if they had it and they didnt respond. They then immediately hung up. I was really worried about my phone because I wasnt sure where it was and didnt know if anybody stole it or not. I tried calling them back and they did not answer my phone call. They ignored me every single time I called them. Those idiots have no courtesy towards their customers. I never got my phone back from these retards. I will never ever go back to this garbage dump. If anyone asks me if The Funplex is good, I will tell them it is a garbage dump and a waste of money and time. I would rather go to a different place like Six Flags or Hershey Park. A few more things about the garbage dump ( The Funplex): 1- Their food tastes like poop 2- Garbage Dump 3- Full of idiots 4- Rude and annoying as hell customer service 5- Waste of time 6- Waste of money 7- Waste of driving time (depends if you live close or not, I live around 40 minutes away) 8- Do not care about other peoples concerns. 9- Only care about their money. 10- Have long lines of idiots that love this place for no reason because they are totally dumb. 11- Dirty cafeteria and cooking area 12- They dont care if someone loses their phone 13- They dont answer the phone when someone is concerned about their belongings 14- Some of them ignore your call because they dont want to look around for what you lost 15- They are all idiotic creatures I have still not found my phone for over a month. After all, I would rate this a one star and would recommend that no one step foot inside that Satanic graveyard. If you lose something, know that they will never ever help you find it. NEVER go to this place. I will Never go to this garbage dump ever again. Dear Funplex, You are a one star according to me. All of your staff can be called idiots.
