Beautiful park that was designed by Fredrick Olmsted, who also designed Central Park. There is something for everyone here. Dog park, tennis courts, rose garden,soccer feilds, baseball diamonds, etc. Clean bathroom facilities. Wonderful walking path with brand new fitness activities placed all along the way. Great play area for kids. Lots of wildlife, hawks, chipmunks, rabbits, many types of birds. One of my favorite places, I just cant say enough about it.

Very nice park with lots of open grassy areas. The playground is very big with lots of activities for kids. There is a football/soccer field with a running track. There are multiple portable bathrooms which are fairly clean. However, on weekends the park is extremely crowded in the playground area with barely any room to run around. Most of the park is open and theres plenty of room to sit outside.

Great park. Modeled after Central Park, designed by the same people I believe. Parking is the biggest issue as is trying to pull out of the park into traffic. The new playground is fun. The dog park is usually enjoyable (every once in a while you get a skirmish, but that is too be expected).

Nice park with lots of stuff for my almost three year old. She loves the spider web, the climbing areas and slides. The playground ground has a fence. There is also a spray pad. Only minus is the spinning wheel thing, the older kids make it spin too fast. It is a real danger to younger kids!

Large park for running and bike riding, rose garden, large modernized football field which doubles as soccer field Upgraded rubberized track which is easier on the joints. Many outdoor concerts. Many Essex county parks got excellent upgrades during 2007 recession and aftermath. Recommended.

Great open space in Essex County that includes a Dog Park, yes a Dog Park, baseball, football and soccer fields, track and tennis courts, and an excellent walking/running path with workout pits. It also includes a beautiful rose garden and a new playground area for children.
