All the younger kids behind the counter were obviously not enjoying their job. The presence they throw off was why am I even here and there customer service reflected, not smiling and almost giving me and my friend dirty looks when we requested a lane that wasnt open. An employee by the name of Holy was the only one to make me feel like it was worth it to be there by actually smiling and asking how we were doing. After getting a sour taste in the mouth from the kids behind the counter, me and my friend decide to grab a drink later on in the night after pay 24$ for three games, which is ridiculous! There should be a reduced price after two game. I proceede, it took forty minutes to be served. Poor guy for being the only one serving. Gsrs fault not his. It was packed and the line was too. After all that me and my friend were over it, so when I went to hand in my shoes I asked the kids behind the counter if it was appropriate to leave my shoes on the front desk, not knowing if there was a designated spot, four of them now laughing and smiling with another on of them turns to me gives me the looks of what are you doing here , says nothing then turns back around to continue whatever they were doing together. Lucky Holy was there, this time not so happy looking but still she said with a nice tone that it was indeed a place I could drop them off. Thanking her I decided to ask what was wrong from before. She said that the gentleman behind the counter were giving her a hard time. I proceeded to ask them why they did, in a light manner with a concerned tone, at this time their circle and been facing Holy and I. They didnt say nothing and three of them turned the back around. Feeling a little disrespected beings that I was older and knew she was to I said respect your elders, thanked Holy once again for being nice and left. I am a local, I will not come back anytime soon and I will be telling others that they should be weary of going, price wise and costumer service wise. Ill come back to see if things have changed eventually, hopefully they will.

Some writer said Fin Fish was surprisingly affordable. Yeah for Donald Trump. Most of the dinner entrees were $28 and you have pay separately for "starches" and "veggies." Im sorry but first, who pays for sides, and second, calling it starches sounds disgusting. And its not the food that will get you but the outrageous wine prices. I mean seriously, a $30 bottle at Bens Liquor goes for $90 here. Its okay for restaurants to mark up wine 100% but not three times retail. I guess they have to find some way to pay for all the condo renovations with the condo market in a total slump in Reno. And who wants to buy a condo and then have to share it a few weeks out of the year to hotel guests? Hello! Get a clue GSR. You put $80 million into renovating the place, and you did a great job, but sorry, youll never make it back anytime soon, and especially not one wine bottle at a time. If anything you just turn off people. The waitress was a bit young and unfriendly and inattentive. The place is tiny and requires a reservation. I dont get the bar thing, who wants to spend $200 and eat at the bar??? I had scallops which were okay, but guess what, I could get just as good scallops at Atlantis Cafe Alfresco or PF Changs and not pay $28 and then a 200% markup on the wine. There is YET to be a great seafood place in Reno. Went there a second time. Service was so much better. No young stupid girl. Got a professional older guy who was very attentive and friendly. Much better experience.

Worst bowling experience. Lanes are in terrible condition. Pins often do not get reset equipment malfunctions. Employees stand around with no sense of urgency. Line to py for bowling is extremely slow. Staff Id often rude. My friends ball got a large chip taken out of it due to their equipment. Bar closes way too early. There are no discounts only for 3 hours on tuesday. They need to have 1 dollar bowl from 12 am to 8 am like alleys in las vegas so customers would be willing to spend more at the bar and on food. I paid 16 dollars for 2 games for me and my fiancée and the lane was awful made me loose my rythym. If I could I would never go back but there are only 2 other alleys in town and they close before 10 most nights. Reno has the bowling championships and the hall of fame but there is nowhere for a local to have a good bowling experience in town.

Great place to go in the early afternoon. No crowds. They have some maintenance issues with the equipment. Ive never seen an alley with so many mis-stacked pins. They also need to throw out people who drink too much. A member of our group was so drunk he kept falling on the floor and nearly hurt himself. He was really an embarrassment to himself and our group. It was his anniversary and as a result of his drinking, he will probably get divorced. Now he is going to be living on my couch. This is all the fault of the GSR.

50 lanes but about 14 of them were not functional for whatever reason. Decided to bide our time with a drink and bar tender was rude. Made everyone "stand in a line" to get a drink because he said he couldnt take back and forth stuff of going patron to patron at the bar. Must be his first bar or first time having to serve more than 10 people in a night. I tip well and have a large party but left instead of giving him the satisfaction. This place sucks.

For an establishment inside of a casino resort, it was a little surprising to find the place run by "kids" in the evening... the equipment broke down a few times and none of the staff had too much interest in doing anything about it... nonetheless the lanes were in very playable condition - but this is most likely due to the fact that there was a tournament during the day - so the lanes were properly oiled relatively recently when I got there...

Long wait times due to many lanes being out of commission. Air hockey and pool tables have also been out of commission for months. The pin sensor doesnt work very well which means the only way to keep an accurate score would be to do it by hand. The good part is they have a bar, however the head bartender is incredibly rude. All in all the GSR bowling alley is run down and not worth your time.

Worst experience ever !!! All lanes broke multiple times and we approached the manager after our lane being broke 6 times and were rudely not taken care of and the worker at the counter, in a middle of talking to me walked away to help the other guest to help them start a lane they already told us we could switch to ,rude staff , rude manager, terrible experience ! 0 stars if I could !!!!!
