While I applaud their efforts and information, they are like all other organizations = after your money. When I realized they were taking $10 from my acct every month I immediately contacted Audubon Society and told them "NO". I made a one time donation was all I authorized. Now I find out they have continued to take funds from my acct. I will notify my bank, this time and cease all contributions to this organization.

The importance of this particular area is extraordinary spectacular if you truly love the variety of species that migrate through the area. My son and I visit through out the year to document the different species. A wonderful staff at the center, and a nice area to take nature walks. Truly a gem for nature lovers. (Especially bird lovers!!!)

The facilities were impressive and very educational. There were numerous birds on display (stuffed) native to the area. The outdoor views were also cool. Bald Eagles are present mostly in the cold months. There are binoculars available.

Very nice museum with many viewing stations with telescopes, as well as numerous stuffed waterfowl. Combine this visit with one to nearby Confluence Point State Park (where the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers meet).

Great place to see migrating birds. Great center with weekend events featuring owls and eagles, especially in the winter. A real gem if you love nature and birds. Many walking trails, too!

Excellent exhibits with several high quality bird viewing scopes for use by public. Rent out binoculars in trade for your license. Color maps of area and Restrooms available.

One of the few places to see European tree sparrows in the USA. Really good reserve on the Mississippi river, during migration this place must be great.
