Nice theater with good acts, mostly. Horrible parking when other events are downtown, and there is no one at the theater to direct patrons to guaranteed parking in a secure environment. I went for one jazz season series and missed half of one of the shows because of parking. (I was directly in front of the Folly a half hour before the show, and it took another hour to park, blocks away.) I skipped the rest of the season.

Beautiful historic theatre! Great sound for concerts and speakers. Sitting toward the back of either the lower or upper sections means a pretty long distance view to the stage. I would choose balcony if the first half of the lower level is full. Box seats on left and right get pretty up close and personal if thats what you like.

Beautiful theater. Attended Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. There are multiple parking garages in the vicinity, but it also just a quick walk from the streetcar line (our choice for the night). The ushers were all friendly and helpful, and the acoustics were great.

This is a lovely theater, and they always have good productions. Ive been there several times, and have never been disappointed. You can park in the lot next door for $8, which I dont think is too bad.

The design of this theater reminds me of a more modest Midland Theater, but the sound was very good for the youth symphony. I am excited for the next time I can go back for another concert!

Love the Folly Theater. Its intimate enough that no seats are bad, but its not enough that sound and acoustics are not ruined. Beautiful, historic building!
