The wife and I received tickets for Next to Normal and were hesitant to attend because of its subject matter, but were we blown away. We left with tell-tale sign of tears on our cheeks. If you are hesitant to view Next to Normal dont be, it truly is amazing. They know their audience, they know their strengths, and play to them well. They serve some food and beverages, including alcohol, but we had just came from dinner so i cant attest to quality but price was reasonable. The performance hall is intimate but still large enough for loftier productions and we look forward to another show. Sidenote: If you come wearing a mid thigh or knee length dress, blankets are available, at no charge, at the beginning of the show so be sure to grab one if you are cold-natured.

I just read the review in todays K.C. Star PREVIEW and am thrilled to see that someone else agrees with me about this wonderful production of SHE LOVES ME! The talent was exceptional so congratulations to Sarah Crawford on both her casting and staging AND to the tremendously talented cast of performers. Also glad that the review included the magnificent Jeremy Watson and his seven-person bad. Watching Jeremy play the keyboard is a show within a show! BRAVO MTH!

Best value in Kansas City for those who love musical theater. Four shows per year plus Musical Mondays and Tuesdays Too, cabaret style performances in a theme. Small theater, so no bad seats. They have a bar and encourage taking drinks into the theater to enjoy during the performance. It tends to be chilly, recommend dressing in layers.

Saw "Next To Normal" last night at the Musical Theater Heritage in Crown Center. Wasnt sure what to expect but this is a must see. Absolutely moving. The cast is just stand-out and brought so much to the show. Music is amazing. To experience this caliber of a performance in the setting of the MTH is so rewarding. Do NOT miss this one!

Saw, a night with Cole Porter, the cast was very fun! Definitely kept me entertained and the people who work there are nice. Pam made getting tickets easy and the greeters had my ticket in hand and were waiting for me. I would go back. Wished they did more than singing.

What a marvelous experience! Small enough to feel intimate, yet large enough to feel the enthusiasm and energy of the audience! The only live theater in KC providing Musical Theater Hospitality! Musical Mondays &:Tuesdays, are a must see.

Never been to a an actual theater before and it was the best experience. A few years back I had come with a friend to see Evil Dead and it was great! Cant pass this up when coming thru KC when ya love real theatrical and musicals.

We recently attended a performance of Tommy. The cast was excellent and the performance and delivery were compelling. We have been to few shows at MTH and are never disappointed.
