Not sure about the lowlands, didnt play it. But the Highlands course was amazing! Played it last weekend and the views were crazy. It only cost 48$ with a cart and you HAVE to take a cart. It is so up and down that only a billy goat would survive walking it (there is actually a sign on a hole that says 2 1/2 min DRIVE to next tee box). Hole 10 and 17 were about as extreme as i have ever seen when it comes to elevated tees. 10 is a 600 yd hole that drops 100 ft into a narrow woods lined fairway and 17 may be 140 yds but plays like 90. Anyone who likes new different courses and doesnt mind losing more than a few golf balls has to check this course out. One downfall, bring extra refreshments. Unlike most 18 hole courses, you never go back to the clubhouse after 9, never saw the drink cart and the concession stand on 11 was closed.

Awesome golf experience! Played both courses for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed both. First we walked the Lowlands and then since we were having so much fun decided to play the Highlands which a cart is required for good reason! Havent enjoyed a course that I would deem "unique" in a long time, but the Highland course fits the bill. Thank you to all the staff for being courteous and very helpful and also to the course for being part of The Public Country Club, our members shouldnt miss this one! It was almost a 2 hour drive one way but was completely worth it!

This is one ofmy favorite courses and i golf anywhere within an hour and a half of my house this is by far the best it has 36 incredible holes the Lowlands which is there tournament course and the Highlands which is my favorite and very scenic every hole is scenic and the course is up in the mountains you must have a cart for the highlands because there is a 2:30 cart ride between holes not to mention a ton of hills extremely scenic it is a MUST golf minnesota course and it wont break the bank like stoneridge or troy burne

I was there for a corporate event in late June. The course was like nothing Ive ever played before. We played the Highlands and I am already planning a trip back the next time Im in the southern part of the state. The views are stunning, and the course is fun but a little quirky. There is an 82 yard par 3, and two back to back 90 degree dogleg lefts that werent my favorite, but the other 15 holes were all fun and challenging.

I was blown away by how beautiful the lowlands course is and how well the grounds were taken care of. They were nice enough to let our 5 year old son tag along and play free of charge. I normally golf in and around the Chicago area and I will make it a point to visit Mississippi National golf like more frequently.

Love the course, great views, awesome greens, all around fantastic course. This gets three stars only because of that other wise the worker that helped me today was incredibly rude and all around not friendly. He would get a 1 star max. Terrible customer service.

Always love playing there. The Highlands has scenic bluff views (especially in the fall) and the cool par 3 hole with the 100 foot drop. Lowlands is great layout for more traditional round. I live over an hour away but make sure I play there at least once a year.

By far the best bang for your buck course. Very easy to get on your course of choosing (you have 2 to choose from). Well maintained and incredibly scenic for southern Minnesota. Can not wait to welcome in the new operations team.

Excellent facilities. I like to play 36 holes on my days off, and to be able to play two different tracks at one place is great. Both courses were in great shape, lots of variety of holes. I would definitely visit again.

This is the only course Ive played where I didnt lose a single ball the first time out. Second time only lost 2. Beautiful views of the bluffs, though Ive only played the lowlands I hear the highlands are very nice too.

Very unique and memorable place to bring group golf outings. Highlands course features a par 3 with 100 ft drop and amazing scenery over the bluffs. Staff is great to work with and food is suprisingly good

Cool place! The views are amazing, the course is well maintained. Not too difficult but not too easy. Highly recommend this course, even if you have to drive a ways to get there.

Awesome course. Lower 18 hole course is great for walking and upper 18 hole course is more of a resort style course with unbelievable views on the back 9.

Beautiful course. It was early in the year so it was still in the process of getting the course ready for the season. All around great course though.
