Somewhat disappointed in this winery. The exterior of the building as you walk in needs attention. Then when you walk in the doors totally opposite. Very clean well kept modern entry. Three people behind the bar area and not a one welcomed us as we were standing there, basically not acknowledged for at least 2 to 3 minutes. The staff seemed to be a bit be concerned about not having garnishes for Bloody Marys rather than greeting guests. One staff member stopped twice to talk to two people sitting at the bar as she walked by us standing there. Once acknowledged all we were asked was what can we get you. We ordered paid and went out to the patio. My husband went out before me as I had to wait for my Flight and they poured his beer right away. Shouldnt the order that takes a bit longer be done first so a couple can get their choices at the same time. Maybe I know more than they do. My husband had to choice a dirty table as there were no clean ones . Staff was busy going in and out but not a one ever took the dirty dishes off our table or other tables either. Even someone ordered another beverage they did take any empires back inside with them. Maybe thus is the way they are trained, sorry very bad. Dirty dishes attack bugs and just plain look bad on any table. There was one person sitting across the patio that was going in and getting drinks for the table she was at and also one other table. At first I thought she was throwing a get together and was choosing to serve her friends. She did come across the patio once gave a girl a hug and went back to the table she was at. We never asked if we would like anything else when we were close to done and we had staff walk past us several times. One finally did stop when we were done and just asked if we were good. Didnt pick up dirty dishes and went back inside. Once we were ready to leave we went in to purchase a bottle of wine. No one asked if we had any questions took a bottle to the counter and had to wait a couple of minutes to pay for the bottle after 3 people walked by us. One of the people behind the bar was the gal I mentioned earlier that was getting drinks for people at a table she was at. She must be manager or supervisor or something but she didnt impress me one bit once I knew this. She should have been clearing tables and helping her staff. There was also another staff person that was sitting wiping flight glasses when we came in and she was still sitting there when we left. She could have been clearing tables. The cooks brought out quite a few pizzas and had no idea where they went. Tickets should have some type of description or some type of direction on them to help staff know where things go rather than wandering around. With all this said, first place we have ever been that offers flights of wine samples, nice touch. They have 5 put together or you can make your own flight of 5. Bottle prices are high but all wineries in Minnesota are higher than other states further south . Beautiful interior but grounds needs attention. No color , weedy. Needs flower pots. I will probably stop again and then hopefully I see staff doing their jobs properly.

I had a girls weekend in Hutchinson. We had lunch at Heirlooms Tea house, went shopping at Clay Coyote Gallery, and had a tasting at Crow River. There was a live band to enjoy while we sampled ALL of their wonderful wines. Luke was helpful, informative, and made the experience completely enjoyable! I would recommend this as a must for your next Hutchinson visit. So delighted to have this as part of our community!!!

Crow River Winery is a wonderful small town winery. It is probably the best I have ever been to in the Midwest, because they can cater to private groups and public groups at the same time. They almost always have music on the weekends, and they have many of their own wines on hand. Plus, their garlic cooking wine is absolutely amazing!

This is a wonderful winery. My husband and I stopped on a Saturday afternoon and sampled 10 different wines. The wines were great and every one working was super friendly and lots of fun. If your looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon this is a ton of fun. We cant wait to return.

Great wine and staff! Their Bistro menu is very tasty. The winery has cooking wines, flavored olive oils, and balsamic vinegars on top of all that. Also a great place for a wedding...CRW staff go above and beyond for their bride and grooms!! (That is speaking from personal experience!)

This is our second year of wine of the month club, which I love. They offer many different kinds of wines and are always adding something new. The venue is stunning and a great place for bistro food or relax on the patio in the warm months.

We had our wedding here and it was beautiful. We were treated very well and their wine is delicious! Now they have some food too and occasionally food pairing events.
