First experience at the Ames Center was a Queen tribute act. Seats were balcony, center, row 2. Getting to seat was weird - up stairs to balcony level. Up stairs to balcony. Up stairs to top of balcony. down to seat. Was inconvenient. I wasnt very happy with the sight lines. If the guests in the front of us (one row/row one) leaned forward even 6", we couldnt see the front 1/3 of stage. Thats hard to believe, because Im already 63" tall, and I can usually see over everything. My companion, who is 5 at best, had a hard time seeing the stage even when people in front of here werent leaned forward. Ordered the same drink at two different bars and was charged two different prices. Not a fan of that, because I dont like arguing about being overcharged for drink while others are waiting in line behind me.

Recently, my mother called looking for information about a show at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. She said the phone was answered right away. The lady who answered was friendly, cheerful and helpful. She seemed like she enjoyed her job and was happy to help. And, the next day, my mom received the information she requested in the mail. To say she was impressed would be an understatement. She was thrilled. Every time my wife and I attend a show or event or bring friends to the the BPAC, we are greeted by friendly staff and volunteers. We always feel welcome there. This is the kind of service and attitude that fits a beautiful facility like the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. Thanks for providing such great customer service.

If there was less than 1 star thats what I would have given after the experience I had there this past weekend during the Legacy Dance Competition. I sent an email about my experience and I have heard nothing back. Not only was I approach by the same staff member once but on four separate occasions and I was only there for 4 hours!!! The same man continued harassing and it wasnt until I found a security person and asked to speak to a manager that it stopped. Two male parents from our studio stayed with me to make sure this man didnt continue.. Worst Experience Ever!! Poor follow up!!

The best venue in Minnesota. Big enough to have a big stage production, small enough to still have an intimate feel. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff is great too! I would not hesitate to see a show at the great Burnsville location. Thanks!

Love this place, hard pressed to go into Minneapolis for a show, sit in traffic, pay a ton for tickets and parking, and sit in tiny uncomfortable seats after seeing shows at the Burnsville performing arts center.

We saw the nutcracker and it was beautiful and fun. The venue was lovely but a little too crowded. Even our lower priced seats were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy, close by and free!

Attended a dance competition here. The place was nice and clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. The drawback was no outside food or beverage allowed and their concession prices were high.

FANTASTIC venue... I saw Steve Vai there last night and it was such a great, intimate setting to see him. Free parking on both sides of the venue too. Will definitely be back again soon m/m/

There is no better facility in the twin cities area to see a show. Than the Ames Center. Great staff too. Every seat is a good view and has a nice art gallery. Cant wait to come back.

I loved the play when I saw it a couple of years ago for $22.50, but this cost of $56.00 - $102.00 for it is ridiculous so we wont be attending again until that price drops.

Arrived early b4 annl lighting of 200K Xmas lights in Nic. Commons Pk. & heard 2 choirs rehearsing prior 2 their performance. Beautiful voices .. put us in Holiday spirit!

Small but overall very nice. Needs more seating in the waiting area. There were many of us seniors standing in pain while the youngsters sat and stared at us.

Went and saw a Queen cover band here recently. Really nice facilities with friendly staff. Would definitely return for another concert/show
