My wife and I have been to this hotel twice. First, for our 1st anniversary since we started dating. Second, for our 3rd wedding anniversary. The first time, they had upgraded us to a better room, gave us vouchers to the Chophouse, and generally made our stay absolutely amazing. The Chophouse staff treated us amazingly, even signing our menu and letting us take it home. That may sound a little weird, but the menu hangs on our kitchen wall. Its pretty cool as far as kitchen artwork goes, a menu with signatures on it. Sorta a reminder of the fun we had. This most recent time, they once again pulled through. A clean room, great service, and going out of their way to make our stay special. I turned the temp down to 66 just before going to bed and the down pillows and blankets were unbelievably comfortable. We stayed on the 11th floor, and upon hearing it was our 3rd anniversary, they sent up a slice of cake! It may not be as valuable as a crisp $20 bill, but the thought they put into that was amazing, writing a hand written note along with it. Absolutely shocked us. A day later, the guy who brought it up even remembered us as we walked across the lobby. I highly recommend this hotel. It really didnt cost much more than the low-budget hotels we looked at and it was all worth it. Even the help was cheerful. Oh, and the breakfast... I recommend the scrambled eggs and hash browns with cranberry juice. Itll make your day. Seriously, works great as a "staycation" destination.

It was originally supposed to be a free stay at the embassy suites in Bloomington. Whomever had done the booking when we called two weeks in advance hadnt taken the time to make sure a reservation was made in the right place. After a few phone calls and a 10 min drive we were set up with a room at the Hilton instead. The staff at the front counter that night were extremely understanding of the situation and had record of the reservation made that was supposed to be at the embassy suites. The hilton had open rooms and was more than willing to compensate for the troubles. They even gave us some free drink vouchers at the bar/grill inside the hotel itself. The bartender was very polite and very real with us and listened to every word we had to say whilest chatting. I will say the pool was a little small and shallow for my taste, and thats not to worry at all. I can see it as more of a family pool than needing to be a large training or diving pool. The room was very cozy and offered many comforts and luxuries. The bathroom was very clean and the beds too were spotless and neatly made. The only downside was that the WiFi was extremely slow and I had difficulty even opening an Internet browser. Overall though, considering the complications and challenges, the Hilton was by far a great choice to stay at.

We stayed at the Hilton for our Anniversary. The room was very nice. There were a couple things that made me irritated. First, my husband and I went to MOA then came back to the Hotel around 11pm so that we could get some food before room service was done. We were notified by staff that room service was done at 11pm. I had did my research on the hotel website so I knew our plans for the night. Well the website says they close at 1am, so we should of had plenty of time, so instead off having a late night snack in our room we just figured we would have a snack in the lounge. Well the time for therere closing was also wrong on the website. It was a Friday night why would a lounge close at 11pm. So my husband and I had to leave our hotel at 11pm to go find a place that was still serving food. This made me mad because the staff acted like we were crazy, and it was no big deal what there website said. Then in the morning check out was at noon and the maid was knocking at our door by 930 am, we were still sleeping so by the time we realized it was someone knocking she was opening the door. We were like excuse us we are still here. I will definitely not stay there again, and will pass the word on to our friends and family our bad experience at this hotel.

I booked a room at the Hilton Minneapolis Bloomington because I needed to fly out of MSP at 6:15 am, and this hotel advertised "airport transportation (complimentary)". What I didnt find out until I went down to the front desk to request a 4:30am ride to the airport, is that their shuttle runs only from 6am to 12 midnight, and nowhere on my reservation did they indicate that there were limited hours for this service. I often stay in hotels the night before a flight out and have never run into this problem before. Many flights leave before 7:15am, so beware if you have a flight earlier than this...you will have to pay $30 for a cab to get to the airport, on top of the hotel fees. Unfortunately, I took my car back the evening prior to my flight because they advertised complimentary airport transportation. Buyer beware....ask questions before you book.

Super comfy beds, free parking, very pleasant staff. Im truly loving this experience at Hilton!! I cant stop raving about this place, you guys. On day two now. I went down to get a Starbucks coffee in the lobby and of course they have an awesome barista! She and I talked and she got me some maps of things to do, told me places she loves to shop, etc. The coffee is killer btw. And did I mention it stormed last night right over us and I hardly wouldve noticed if I werent already awake? These super comfy beds had me sleeping like a baby. Just pay the little extra and stay here. Its unbelievably wonderful and I havent even tried a fraction of their amenities. Update: 4.49mbps avg upload/download internet speed for free WiFi. Not bad!

Beautiful rooms and lobby. I figured because it was a hilton they would have really nice pillows so I left my My Pillow at home.. That was a bad choice. Their pillows are horrible, and to top it all off no microwave in the room to re heat your food. They are trying to get us to spend more money at their over priced restaurant. You would think the more money you spend on the room that more would be included with your stay, Boy was I wrong. Cambria Suits from here on out, and my wife found hairs in our room that were not ours right after check in. To top it all off at 9 AM on the day of checkout we had room service banging on our door 3 hours before checkout. Get it togethere Hilton. In my eyes you didnt live up to your name..

This placed caused me a lot of headaches before my wedding day. When we toured the place we were told we could have a shuttle all to our selves from 11pm-1pm at an additional cost (which I paid), early check in for bridal party and a room to store the wedding gifts that we could use the next day for gift opening. I found out last minute that I would not get a room to hold the presents for the gift opening or get early checkin for our bridal party. We also waited for the shuttle for 40 mins. to arrive from 2 miles away. They tried to accommodate once I called and explained my frustration, but it was little too late and extra stress for the bridal party.
