This LFS is nothing like what it use to be a couple of years ago. The store use to be clean and well tooken care of, the tanks were clean and well kept. The selection this store had surpassed all the other LFS. This store has let itself go, its disorganized and gives you the feeling that youre walking somewhere customers shouldnt be just to get to the fish, the tanks are really filthy with most of them having dead fish, and the selection is just horrible, i can get most of the fish at meijer. Its just not the gem it once was, in my opinion its not even an "okay" store. Hopefully they snap back to the way things use to be, but until then.....I will avoid this store, when it use to be the only one I would go to. Just sad Something Fishy, just sad....

I like this store. They have everything a hobbyist of my level could want. Staff is knowledgeable and can answer questions. The selection is good. They are often willing to accommodate requests, or can inform you when new inventory will be avaliable. A few times I have been in just to buy the duckweed that floats at the top of some tanks - its not something that is normally sold, but they were flexible enough to make me a deal on the spot. My fish love the stuff. I feel like my money is better spent here since it goes to support an independent small business rather than some faceless corporation.

If the fancy goldfish are sick, just hang a sign saying not for sale. Bothers me to think that youd willingly sell sick fish to a less experienced customer. Pinned fins, white film, hanging listlessly then flashing, dead ones at the top. One tank was just full of only dead goldfish. Thats the third time Ive come in excited to see a variety of fancies like bubble eyes and lionheads then suddenly dissapointed as theyre dead and sick (but no sign to indicate not for sale). This time I put the product back I planned to buy, and wont be returning to support your business.

This store is ok the staff u can tell hates their jobs but who doesnt. The selection of fish is great other than that its anoles a few other lizards and rodents. And the anoles they do have are underfed and unhealthy. If u want a great pet shop then goto larrys house of pets on ford n merriman they rock big selection of everything and very knowlegable people to help u out with your concerns also a bit cheaper a ropefish unhealthy mind you from something fishy was 26.99 and only 16.00 @ house of pets

The way they keep their animals is inhumane. Small rodents including hamsters are kept in tiny plastic bins and are fed "nutrient blocks" which look like wooden blocks. One of the times I was in there I told the employee working that one of their hamsters had babies. He proceeds to remove the babies only and proceed to the back where the babies were not seen again. Its just a sad sight from the moment you walk in and see how poorly they treat their animals.

This store is very convenient its the only pet store thats right down the street from me I go there probably four to five times a week for my reptile food they do not have a very large selection they do have a good selection on fish and they are kind of expensive but as I said its very convenient its right down the street from my house they for sure need to lower the prices though cuz they are so expensive

This is the only pet store I go to for mice for my pet snake. The prices are low and the guys are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a lovely selection of fish and a cool setup of turtles. There is a great selection of different size and style aquariums. They sell everything you need for cats, dogs, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and birds.

The employee was very nice however the store was very dirty and overly full hard to walk around. Very tank had something dead in it. Would never by a fish from there. The small animals are kept in very small cages and dont look like they have been cleaned. Very disappointed looking for new place to buy items for our tank.

About 5 years ago i ordered a Exo Terra from this store because they were out of stock at the time , when we went to pick it up they gave us a ZOO MED instead of an exo terra . They said they were the "same thing" Horrible service i dont know if it has changed , the reviews tell me it hasnt .

Great selection of not only fish, but other pets, and the entire store is impeccably maintained. I purchased a Yellow-Bellied Slider turtle from this store 6 years ago, and the staff at Something Fishy remains extremely helpful and knowledgeable in maintaining his care.

I really like going to this store. The employees are very helpful. They also special order some of my reptiles food. I would rather spend my money at a local business than buy my pet supplies from a chain of pet stores.

Love this place!:) New to the area and Shopped several LFS and I love this place. Fish selection is excellent. Tanks and store are very clean. Staff has always been friendly and willing to help.

Called twice to see what time they were open to, hung up the first time seeing that it was 3 i called back 20 minutes later to be hung up on even faster I will advice to go else where

Always have a good selection of healthy salt water and fresh water fish. Lots of accessories. The drive way is easy to miss traveling north
