Im not sure if Spencer Wheeler played the same Rustic Glen we played (Saline, MI) but the owner Greg was probably the nicest PGA pro I have ever met. He actually sat down with us in the restaurant after golf and told us all about the course and how him, his two sons, and his father rebuilt the original 9 hole course into the 18 hole course it is now. We had one of the best days of golf of the year. The course is well kept for being a public family owned operation. The greens are big and were very fast when we played. The ranger Mike who was on the course was very helpful and even warned us about their "infamous" hidden pond guarding the 15th green (its elevated so you cant see it from the fairway). Over all this was and excellent golf club and we will most certainly be back to play in their couples golf scramble they have. He said it is $42 per couple and includes a buffet dinner after golf - sounds like a bargain since we spent over $80 on just a dinner for 2 at Ruby Tuesday last weekend. Great golf course, and GREAT people there - couldnt ask for more!

We enjoy going to Rustic Glenn because the it is a great course to play. Although it isnt designed by someone like Arthur Hills or Jack Nicklaus, it has a very nice layout and some very challenging fairways for the average player. The greens are kept up nicely, the staff is friendly and the price is very affordable.

A great course to enjoy a quick 18 holes. It has some challenging holes & makes for a great place to play for golfers of all skill levels. The owner & his staff have always treated us like family. Do not pass up your opportunity to have one of the best cheese steak hoagies!!
