Hello All , I have been to all the east side reef stores, and this one stands out for the selection of marine life. The help can be tricky but look for the big Guy hes the hired help but very pleasant, helpful and VERY knowledgeable. When you first walk in you enter a barngarage style building with Aquariums stacked all over the place, straw on ground and the place Screaming for a broom and some windex but just keep walking and amazingly you will discover a clean state of the art AQUA CAVE you dreamed about and surprisingly the prices on corals and fish is very reasonable with a nice one at $65 and a show stopping coral can be had in the $100 range. The premium reef hardware is limited to just a 2 door cabinet so he misses out on the huge draw of hardware geeks and serious $$$$. The dry-goods are pricey but they have a large selection and a large building to heat. I also have to mention they have a two tiered open fresh water tank that runs along an entire wall the little ones will flip for and can put there fingers in , thats worth the time itself. Need serious reef hardware on the east side check out Sting Ray Bay hell keep you rolling.

At first glance we thought we found a great treasure but soon found out our long drive was not worth it. Staff knew nothing, everything that we were interested in they claimed they didnt know what it was but were sure it was the most expensive price. We were told the knowledgable staff leaves at 3. When we informed him we drove a long way to check them out he said "we close at 8" lol it was 7 what is your point? People shouldnt visit during business hours? If you cant get salt water stuff after 3pm your store hours should state that so many working people dont waste their time. There were many potential customers complaining about the same issue. Pretty sure we wont be back. Cant say we will be recommending this place to others.

This is the largest distributor of live fish in the entire state of Michigan. They have everything from tiny gold fish to 2 foot long sharks. Prices are about the same as other pet shops.Only reasons I couldnt rate it higher than 3 stars is because the new management staff is just as unfriendly as the old management staff. Also they do not have a fish warranty which most other pets shops do. Due to the massive fish selection, I still recommend you to at least check the place out and decide for yourself.

Its a nice store and it really big, but the staff is really inexperienced in tropical fish and coral. They do have a lot of coral, but nothing with great good color, theyre mostly bland they do have a nice selection of fish at decent prices, but like at anywhere fish store, inspect the fish very carefully and take the time to do so to make sure it dont have ick and the fins are not damaged because if you dont and you buy a sick or damaged fish then its your fault Im not the stores.

3 out of 3 fish I bought there died with in a month, sunken bellies. I tried treat for parasites but was to late. All 12 of my other fish bought else where are still healthy. I change a third of my water weekly, followed by testing. My water is perfect. Thank you flower barn for screwing me out of 45 bucks. Sincerely a in happy customer. Who will spread the word about your juiced up fish too.

Very cool place one of the largest freshwater and saltwater stores in Michigan. John is a good guy to deal with . Lots of variety and lots of coral!! Store has a very nice fish room meticulous to detail. Always fun to go in and see all the new arrivals. I really wish he would do the shelby store the same.

Ive been buying my flowers from them for years!! They have the BEST plants! I agree that they could be a little nicer though :( Except for this year :( My flowers, at least some of them look pathetic this year, and when I called them to ask for a new flat, he insisted it was my fault!

My family and I went in to look around with an hour before closing. We got hawked by the worker in they wanted to close early so pushed out the door by 7:15. New ownership I guess, after leaving 3 other cars showed up to a closed store.

No help from employees, prices arent on everything. The only good parts were the beautiful fish tanks, and the metal art pieces. Though they have FAR fewer than they used to and they seem higher prices than before as well.
