My experience this evening was terrible. We had a 6:20 tee time and arrived 20 minutes early only to see that the leagues in front of us havent even teed off yet. We asked the clubhouse if our tee time would hold and they told us it was going to be "a little late". We were assured that the leagues were required to play at a normal play rate of 2 hours and 15 minutes a side and that the rangers were out enforcing said rate of play. We teed off at 6:27 only to follow the slowest league I have ever been stuck behind. For the first 4 holes on the 9 there were 8 guys on the tee box at a time showing no courtesy for the people behind them. We saw a ranger on hole 3 drive past all 8 guys on the tee box and simply wave and drive by. No warning, no encouraging rate of play, nothing to warrant him even being out there. This was the only time we saw a ranger that we were assured were out monitoring leagues. The lineup of people behind us were just as frusterated with the rate of play. We know because every hole they were staged behind us. We waited at least10- 15 minutes per box for all 9 holes to tee off. I get being backed up, and I get people playing slowly, but the clubhouse assured us a normal rate of play, so we chose to play. They assured us of rangers that werent out. Why even send people out behind these leagues, take our money, and expect us to be satisfied with this type of experience. Then we get back to the clubhouse and seek out someone to talk to about our experience and we find nobody but 3 younger cart/cleaning staff on their phones, laughing and talking about crazy things they have on their phones. When we finally got someones attention and told them about our garbage experience we were told that they cant control those things, sorry, and we will talk to the leagues and they will definitely get in trouble... I dont want them to get in trouble, I want my time back and to someone to talk to me professionally about a bad experience and how to rectify it. We were told one thing, and the literal opposite was the case. Theres way too many courses out there for me to waste 3 hours and 15 minutes of my time on 9 holes at a poorly managed course. Email me if you want my business again, and we can talk. Otherwise Ill take my play gladly elsewhere.

This is my favorite course to play each year. I really cant afford it during the Summer but in the Spring and Fall they often have a rate that allows me to play. The course is always perfectly trimmed always looks great. I dont know how they do it. Last Spring Joe and I played a perfectly groomed course with a tee time temperature of 29 degrees F. The owner said the first green is in shade so start on number two and play one at the end. Every hole has its own personality. The greens are complicated but fun and always roll true. Number four is a great risk reward situation you can reach the green in two if you risk the water and can hold the undulating green. Twelve is a long majestic challenge with a elevated blind tee shot into a dogleg left fairway. Traps at the bottom of the turn and a central pond, lateral hazard on the right that leads almost to 44th street where a green is guarded by mounds and traps.

Terrible experience - left a speaker there one night after golf league and didnt realize it until the weekend. Called Monday morning and described the speaker, they said they had it and would put it to the side for me. Went in on a Wednesday to pick up my speaker and they said they had given it to someone else who said it was theirs. Called and spoke to one of the "managers" and he was no help and accused me of having a friend go in and claim the speaker. The staff here is generally friendly but if you have anything of value you are bringing to the course with you I would keep a close eye on it and make sure you leave the course without it.

I will give this course to stars because the how well they keep it up. Other than that the staff is a joke!! I golf three times a week and have never had as many problems as I have at Glenneagle!!!!!!!!!! If you like to play three hour 9s this is your course. And dont bother trying to get a voucher, because the only pay you for the holes you didnt play! If Glenneagle would like to contact me and make this right...... please do!

Fairways were in great shape, greens rolled true and well taken care of. Layout winds through neighborhoods which gives way to a fun and unique track. One of a gew "Hidden Jems" around Grand Rapids. $39 for 18 and a cart, was well worth it! Take your time to drive 15min outside of town, save $20 and play a better course than the more expensive ones closer to town.

This is a favorite course of mine in the area. The tight fairways make it fairly challenging for me at times. It is always very well maintained with super interesting greens. Not a fan a the few holes following a major road but that is a small nit pick. Great prices and staff make it a part of my regular rotation.

Really nice course for the money. Many unique holes that are fun to play. Twilight specials are good, can get 18 in with 2 people for only 20 bucks.

Fun course to play, but make sure you can control your ball because the holes are tight and lined with condos on both sides of almost every hole.

Absolute worst course in Michigan! Never go here and avoid it at all costs. Ruined by the old guy working and just driving around in a golf cart
