Wonderful place to spend a few hours with the kids on a Sunday. Many things to keep them interested. Live turtles, bee hives, fish, snakes, etc., hands on stuff like fossils and unusual rocks, and alot of stuffed (real) animals. When youre done inside, right outside there are well kept nature trails to explore and picnic areas. Its open to the public with plenty of parking and totally free. Truly a nice place and one of the many reasons why Farmington/Farmington Hills is a great place to live.

What a wonderful little gem in the community! This small facility has lots to offer- bird watching bay, coloring tables, pup tent to play, kayak to explore and more. Features a large taxidermy collection as well as a few live animals- fish, turtles, snakes, mice, and bunnies. Staff are kind and courteous. We will definitely be back again! Thanks!

The kids love the nature center. It pretty a large with lots of hands on stuff and from time to time there are small animals out (like turtles) that can see and touch. The park is huge and has wooded nature trails that are well maintained

My toddler really enjoyed the play campsite, kayak, and the variety of taxidermy animals. This would be perfect for a rainy day outing with little ones. Outside, there is a longhouse representation with some music exploration items.
