First time playing Fieldstone. Challenging Arthur Hills course. Fun to play, strategic with some great bunkers. Well maintained but the greens on the front 9 have not had a good winter. April is still early so hoping they are in better shape come June. Dont expect a quick round, 5:30 hours with a 11:30 Saturday tee time. I dont mind but this drives some nuts. One slow group or holding up to go for a 275 green shot can really back things up. Definitely Be back to play this gem again. Lose one star for no ranger moving along slow play.

I have played here many times (gold tees). It"s one of a trio of Arthur Hills Courses in this area; and I believe it is the best test of golf of the 3. Its used as the qualifying course for the Buick Open. The front 9 is better than the back 9; Hills has you work on many problems to score well. Only holes 13 and 16 are a bit gimmicky. No bump and run here and any ball hit long is punished as Hills wants you to fly to the green and stop the ball. For the money it is an outstanding value.

Booked 6:56am tee time this morning to get around quickly. Only to find "Gordon" the course manager put a slow forsome out on the 10th tee right in front of us as we make the turn. When i went to talk with him he was busy smoking in his cart by the patio of the club house in violation of Michigan State laws regarding smoking in the workplace. Think twice unless you want a slow round. This course is very poorly managed.

Greens and conditions were excellent. Pace of play on weekends is VERY slow. 5 hours 45 min on Saturday with early afternoon tee time. Groups on every tee, mid fairway and on greens on EVERY hole. Just doesnt move at all!!! Wondering if they moved the 10th hole so people wouldnt be tempted to skip out after 9 holes at the club house due to SLOW pace of play.

This whole establishment is top notch. From the staff to the grounds and the food. Your money 100% goes into everything you get when you visit Fieldstone. Try the squirrel fries from their restaurant as you sit on the deck, sipping a refreshing Arnold Palmer whilst enjoying the view and reflecting on the round you just had.

Very nice city course. Short, but fun. Tee time at 9 am. Pace of play was perfect. A few of the back 9 holes are a little noisy due to i75 being nearby. The only thing holding me back from repeat plays in the future is the price. There are plenty of other similar or better options in the area for under $50.

The round took almost 6 hrs (Saturday 11:00 tee time). Not a bad course but I probably wouldnt play it again because it seems that they just dont keep up the pace of play. Halfway through the round we saw SIX CARTS on ONE tee box behind us!

Way better than all the neighbor courses and their prices are way more fair. Greens are pristine, fun course layout. Great staff, awesome grill. Their club pro Gordon really knows what hes doing if u need any lessons.

fall season they charged $40.00 at sunday we play almost 6hours per 18 holes because they put the middle of shot gun leage no applogy, no rangers.. i never go again ..

Played here less than a month ago. Course was in pretty good shape. Pace was good for a Saturday and rate was reasonable. Will definitely be back.
