OK, here goes. We recently stayed there for five nights. We were excited to stay since we used this hotel when it was a Doubletree for our daughters wedding and were completely satisfied. As the Embassy Suites we were very disappointed in many things. First I will list the things we liked: the breakfast was great and the staff at breakfast were terrific. The location was just right for us. We parked for free. The pool was nice and available. Now the less favorable things: the most annoying two things were the young people who ran around the balconies and up and down the elevators all evening throwing things over the railings and screaming, shouting and slamming doors. We had to call the front desk several times over this and finally slept with pillows over our heads to dampen the noise. This went on for three of our five nights. Then there were the teen-age parties in the next door rooms all night with screaming, shouting, bed jumping, and general chaos that kept us up all night (and also our 2 year old grandaughter). This happened more than one night. Now for the maid service who cleaned the rooms. They never did get the room or bathroom completely clean. They did not replace what was used up such as tissues and they left trash under the bathroom counter as well as leaving "clean" glasses that were caked with baked on crud. And they did not remove used dishes or glasses. Before closing I will mention two more things that were good so we end up on a positive note: when we needed anything extra the staff brought it up very quickly and nicely and it was nice to have free soft drinks in the late afternoon. So, our stay at this hotel promoted very diverse emotions.I do not know if we would ever consider staying here again.

Very classy place. So classy. Hella classy. We stayed there the night after going to a jack Johnson concert bc home was two hours away and we were all real tired. The building itself was quite large, and we were able to get a parking spot right near an entrance thankfully enough. The suite was real nice. My parents slept in the master bedroom and my sister and I got the pull out couch which was not terrible comfort wise. Id give it a 5/7 based on my previous encounters w this particular subspecies. WiFi was weird. First I thought we had to pay for it but I guess they gave us a coupon code so we got it for free. Breakfast was excellent though holy cow there were a ton of people there. It was so crowded we had to scout out people who were finishing up and hover over them like we were trying to find parking at the beach or some shiz. Eggs had a weird texture but tasted alright. Liked the French Toast sticks- they came w strawberrys on them. They had so many different kinds of juices, like, four of them. I got the orange juice and it was pretty great. We heard rumors of an indoor pool in the vicinity however we did not have time to wallow around in it ourselves. (Brought a bathing suit for no hecking reason :p) on our way out we heard some rich white looking people complaining about noise at night but we didnt hear anything. My dad figures they were just trying to get a discount. Thats really my only complaint is all the people. There were sooooo many. Plus they stared at me weird for wearing a crop top. (They never seen a belly before?)

This is business meeting/function hotel and NOT a family hotel. We stayed on the 2nd floor near the pool in a suite for $200+ night. The staff told us that it would be quieter for our 2 small children (4 mos and 6 yrs) away from the elevators and more toward the pool area. They forgot to mention the Friday night wedding reception the would take place right in front of our room on the 2nd floor until 1030pm! Loud music, yelling, laughing, etc. We will not stay here again. Perhaps the 7 or 8th floor would have been quieter--if only I had known. The restaurant is very expensive for a family of four, but we found a great Thai restaurant and Italian restaurant right across the street. Good distance to Boston. Easy location right off of I-95. Nice interior staff...front desk folks seemed to be busy talking amongst themselves most of the time and quick to finish up with you. Pool okay, but not super clean. Great gym area. Comfortable bed ...but a very UNcomfortable, old pull-out couch! Some linens/blankets were stained and the coffee in the room was horrible! Be aware that this hotel is hopping early in the a.m... by 6am theres a lot of noise from business clients starting their day and the staff vacuuming or setting up for various meetings or functions. You will hear the noise through your hotel room door. Ahhh..no rest for a weary mom. Probably fine if your traveling for business and your company is footing the bill.

Its nice. We would stay again, but a few issues. We had prepaid and checked in online. We got here and asked for our key, which we got (only one, requested a second the next day), but they didnt ask us for any identification. Also being a Silver HH, we never got our bottled water. Breakfast was ok, nice having fresh omelets cooked to order. The room was nice and spacious and clean. Cleanliness issues: first day for breakfast, many tables were empty and dirty. Second day many many many dirty breakfast dishes and food in the bar area, kinda disgusting. Even after we ate breakfast that area hadnt been cleaned. We havent left yet, hoping it is clean when we leave! I didnt like the coffee, way to bitter, no amount of sugar or cream could help. Hampton inns has much better coffee. They ran out of food on Sunday. No bananas left..they eventually refilled the hot dishes, but we were done. Saturday there were no English muffins, which I didnt know until I saw them on Sunday. We visit the area for friends and if the rate is decent we would stay again.

This hotel location doesnt feel like its owned by Hilton anymore. Ive stayed here before and it was fine. It now feels like its owned by a franchisee. My room was dirty, the furniture and furnishings were very worn and in desperate need of updating and the air conditioner was emitting a high pitched squeal that was impossible to ignore. We called the front desk and an "engineer" showed up, banged on some pipes but the noise came back within minutes and never went away. It was so, so, so annoying. If that wasnt annoying enough, the main NBC channel was blocked during the Olympics. The channel is available free of charge over the air, right? It seemed like a lame attempt to upsell the high speed internet service because thats the only solution the hotel offered. (Really!) We werent the only guests upset about it. We overheard several conversations in the common areas about it. There are other hotel options in the area. I will explore them the next time Im in town.

I made a reservation thru Expedia to the double tree in Waltham ma, I later found out my meeting was move up in the morning, I was coming from new York to Boston so I called Expedia to change reservation, the contacted the double tree hotel and ask if we could arrived at 12am the manager said sure as long as there are rooms available, I ask will there be additional charges and they said no as long as we come in after 12am. So I called a day before to confirm and see if rooms would be available, they said yes, today after a 4 and a half hour trip, we get to the hotel and they say we dont have anything saying we can arrive at 12am. Even though it was confirmed thru the notes of Expedia they said no, they want to charge an additional night at triple the price, and they wouldnt even bother to call the manager that said we can come in at 12 am. There customer service is horrible. I am really regretting coming here.
