Pleasantly pleased with room. Comfortable king sized bed, and room included in-room coffee (Starbucks Verona. Very good.) Bathroom had plenty of room. For an Inn to serve a rudimentary continental breakfast, (plastic wrapped bagels, English muffins, toaster available for self service toasting. Cold cereal, lukewarm water for tea, coffee was hot, lack of fresh fruit) well that was not at all impressive, considering the inn advertises its own well appointed restaurant for dinner and wedding receptions. In addition, we were overcharged for our room. The inn charged us the full room price 3 days before our stay, and then additionally charged us upon checkout. A call to their reception desk was forwarded to their business office voice-mail, because there was no one present when we called who could resolve their error.

Waitress in restaurant was new/inexperienced but very friendly and helpful. Clam chowder was not as hot as I would have liked but it was delicious. There was a fire alarm during our dinner and the 6 wheelchair bound people I was dining with were taken through the kitchen and out of the building to safety. U give the staff a lot of credit for thinking of our Partys safety. Staff members stayed with us throughout the fire alarm. After alarm was cleared, they ushered us back into the building and even gave us free desert for our inconvenience. Very impressed with the Choksett staff.

I went here for a work related dinner event. The service is excellent, all the food was spectacular and I love the old fashion ball room ambiance. My company is right up the road and I love it when they have events here. Wachuset on tap, our events has buffet style dinners, once we had a giant cheese plate before the meal! I would recommend formal attire, but I went straight from work in regular clothes. Highly recommended, I know I would enjoy the over night stay if I did rent a room here. Overall its a classy joint with excellent amenities.

My girlfriend and I came here for a wedding (I was in the wedding party) and Not only was the staff support of the rehearsal dinner excellent and then dinner itself exceptional but the following day for the wedding the service was fantastic the food was excellent and the decor was wonderful the rooms are great. This place is awesome. A big shout-out to our server Michael for catering to our every need, including apple crisp ala mode

This was our first time eating dinner at the Chocksett. We had been to a wedding and enjoyed the food at the wedding, and decides to try dinner. We went Friday evening, and to say we were impressed is an understatement. The food was simply phenomenal. I had steak tips, and my wife had haddock. They were both fabulous. We had the sangria which also did not disappoint. We would go back in a heart beat....the Chocksett won us over!

We live in Leominster and got advice to go here for Dinner. It was so amazing! Service was a little slow and un-attentive but the food made up for it! You can tell it is chef inspired! So delicious. I got the clam chowder and the chicken marsala. So yummy! They have all you can eat prime rib on Friday nights too! Worth a try if you are in the area! The atmosphere is nice for a special date night or a first date!

I was part of a large group reservation for Sunday brunch, made over a month in advance. The day of the brunch I was ill, at home in bed. I should add, the only one who was sick. Even though I was unable to attend, I was still forced to pay for my reservation and food, which I was obviously unable to eat. I spent $30 to be sick in bed!

My husband and I wanted to have a drink before we went to the mini golf next door at Mulligans. We were surprised to find this beautiful in and super beautiful and romantic pub/restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were great too. We plan for on going back sometime for a dinner date!

Here for a wedding, the experience was great. If you need the room cooled before your arrival, I would recommend calling ahead for that. My only gripe was my room upon entry, which was quite warm. Otherwise, very helpful staff and cheerful environment.

Had a wonderful meal with friends. I nice wine selection and some specials that were plated artfully and were very enjoyable. I had the Filet Mignon in a wine sauce and my wife enjoyed the very buttery baked haddock. Pleasant surroundings.

Underrated hotel. Staff was excellent. Room was spacious. The restaurant had great food. Only thing lacking was the breakfast offered in the lobby but most dont even have that so Im not going to complain.

Walked in with my bags had a receptionist accuse me of bringing in outside alcohol after a wedding. Im a 40 year old adult and dont like being treated like Im trying to sneak into the college dorms.

Its a beautiful, well kept building. I have to say it was unexpected from the location. Its located next to a doctors office and ice cream shop. I was pleasantly surprised. Well worth the money.

Setting up a future event, theyve been super friendly, quick to respond, helpful and accommodating. Cant wait for our event and will update a review after, but we are so looking forward to it!

Very nice outdoor wedding/gazebo area. Hall was nice. A bit too cold, but they did a nice job. Accommodated for a food allergy with no problem. Would definitely recommend for an event.

Beautiful Hotel, recently renovated. However a little noisey on the 1st floor and the curtains need to be a little larger to cover the windows better
