We went on a Saturday night trying to bowl with my 4-year old. It was around 8 olcock when arrived and the place was packed. There was a crazy wait for bowling and it didnt seem worth the wait, but luckily they have a pretty sweet arcade here thats all done electronically (i.e. you purchase a card, add funds to the cards via debit/credit or cash, swipe games to play, and tickets you win are stored on the card) kinda hassle-free I suppose. We put $20 on the card, which gave us 50 credits (games cost between 2 and 6 credits, and the machine takes 2 credits from you just for loading up a new card). So we played some games, in the end we had 346 tickets, and even the prizes are automated there. Its like a vending machine where you put in your card, select your prize, and it comes out the bottom. Well, for 346 tickets, and 20 bucks, all we were able to get out of the prize machine were some gumball prizes..you know? Those 25 cent prizes youd get from a gumball machine inside the little plastic capsule? We got a sticky hand, a roll of smarties (candy), a bouncy spongebob yo-yo ball thing that came out of the machine broken, but there was such a long line at the front desk we didnt even bother trying to get a refund, and some fake vampire teeth. Worth 20 bucks? No. But arcades never are. At least my son had fun. Be aware that at that time of night there will be people walking around with beers in there hands, as this place has a full bar. Id like to go back and try the bowling when its not so busy.

Place is a joke. Asked 2 times for a ramp for my son and 3 times to put the bumpers up. Naturally my 3 year old cant pick up a 10 pound ball and roll it down an alley like a grown man can so bumpers and a ramp is essential. Took them awhile to find a ramp but they found one so no problem but after asking a third time for bumpers in my lane to no avail we decided to try without them. The ramp sent the ball into the gutter every time. After bowling a whole game, with 3 people mind you, we decided to bypass our next game and get our money back. They gave partial money back(I payed 53 they gave me back 16 I had to ask to get an additional game back so like 22 total) and some bogo coupons. Ive never asked for my money back in my life and the fact that they thought a bogo coupon would remedy the situation is a joke. If the employees there were worried about the customer rather then chit chatting with each other at the desk, then no bad review. But honestly from me to you, seek alternate bowling alleys.

They do not have their rates / costs on a sign ANYWHERE at the place. Instead its on a brochure that you might happen to pick up which is strategically placed where you are least likely to see it. Even in that the rates are unclear. For example, how much is a game on Tues after 5pm? Ive been there many times and always wondered why I was paying anywhere upwards of $30 for 2 people (2 shoe rentals and only 1 game each). The last time I wisened up (about time) and the guy rang me up for 2 games even though I only asked for 1. So make sure you ask for your itemized receipt. They very conveniently wont give it to you. If you ask for it, they will say they have to keep it. They are scoundrels and cheats. Most people feel embarrassed to look at an itemized receipt when out with a bunch of friends..and these crooks know that.

A lady working at the concession stand comes over to me and asks what I want looking like she hates being at work. I say nothing and she comments how the weight of the ball Im using is too light and will just bounce off the pins, and then proceeds to say "Grown men should be using at least 10 pound balls" with a rude tone. Also, when the pinspotter cycled through, it only gave me 9 pins. Lastly, it is so hot in there that Im only there for 30 minutes a day and sweat every time. Horrible staff, outdated equiptment, and an uncomfortable condition. Horrible, horrible experience.

We ordered drinks from our waitress which we never got. By the time our games were over I told her nevermind on our drinks and she says "ok". Then the computer shut off our game before it was over and we werent on a time limit. I complained to the manager and he said "ok" and did nothing. Went there for my boyfriends birthday, big mistake.

One of the better bowling alleys in the area. Very good experience here. Lane worked well. Decent selection of balls. Bumpers and chutes for the little kids. Food was good (much better than I was expecting). And the staff was great - interacted directly with three different staff members and all three were friendly polite and courteous.

Whole place is under construction right now, they were only using half of the lanes so it was really crowded. The bartender was super friendly & knew what he was doing. Typical bowling alley, nothing special but also nothing horrible about it. We went on a Saturday and it was $40, two people & two games which is really expensive to me.

Had a great time at AMF, nice facilities, your classic bowling alley. Seems like they have pretty good specials at different times. We didnt try food/drinks or the arcade while there, just bowling. It wasnt too crowded on a weekend evening but still lively. Closest bowling to us in Metrowest without going into Boston!

Less than one star. If you want to drink, do not come here. Only allowed 3 drinks. On our third drink we ordered mixed drinks and it was juice with no alcohol. Absolute ripoff the bartenders think they know more than you and they did not add alcohol to our drinks. Terrible service.

Nothing great here. We usually come with groups. The bar is almost like its a prohibition era bar, completely hidden and you need to get a wrist band to get in. The place needs a little updating and I echo what everyone says about the price. It isnt apparent anywhere.

Terrible place. went here with some friends and they treated us badly and did not charge us at the "low" rates they promised. Said it was a mistake but that others were waiting to play so they couldnt do anything for us.

If your planning a visit on a Saturday, understand the pricing before you commit. 3 people, shoes and one game $37.12 total, each game after that is an additional $22.00 Great deals during the week, well matained.

Overall its a nice place for an evening however the one and only time there was a lot of confusion coordinating my lane and having the wait staff deliver our food

More than just bowling! Snacks and drinks, arcade, et cetera. Electronic score keeping equipped with “sparefinder”. Nice place, just kinda pricey.
