A few of us were looking forward to watching City and Colour on a Friday night, and we arrived at 9pm, and were told the box office had closed but the ushers would see what they could do. After waiting a couple of minutes we are told by the usher, the messenger, that tickets prices have been bumped up from $30 to $40, cash only. The whimsical upping of the price of the tickets by $10 WAS NOT mentioned on the website. We had no cash on hand and frankly the trip to the atm (and paying the atm processing fee) & back to Calvin "theatre" (to throw away $10 because the cashier hiding in the ticket booth decided to increase the price) was not worth it. This "theatre" clearly has no interest in promoting its business. Thanks Calvin "theatre", by upping the price, we saved $50 on our end & left a few seats cold.

Saturdays (7/16/16) Shawn Colvin - Steve Earle show would have been great if the sound system at the Calvin was great. Unfortunately the sound system wasnt great. This was the worst sound system experience I have ever had at a show and it is inexcusable. If youre thinking about spending money on a show at the Calvin you might want to think twice.

Got to see Animal Collective here back in May and while their performance was five stars, the venue setting was a bit awkward compared to what Im used to and Ive heard some shady rumors about how the owner monopolizes the music scene in the area. I wish Calvin hosted more national acts. I would for sure return if this was the case.

I just saw Lily Tomlin at the Calvin and was greatly disappointed in the POOR SOUND SYSTEM! There is no excuse for a venue that presents top performers as standard prices to have problems with DISTORTION AND FEEDBACK for a solo performer! Beware the Calvin!

Great ambiance, old school feel. I love it. I have seen many shows here and am never disappointed. Local food choices are great too. Plan your next night out here, you wont be disappointed.

Quaint theater located in nice town. Seating was comfortable and sound was great. Great time had by all present for Pentatonix show ! Parking availability is only negative .

There are 4 inches between seats. If you have legs, you will be uncomfortable. Its hard to enjoy the experience when you are so cramped. Did I say seating is terrible?

Another intimate New England theatre house off the charts with the sound of music. Had the pleasure of seeing Moe. blow the roof off this place 2/4/17.

Went to go see Esperanza Spalding here and it was great. Nice seating area but also awesome floor space up the the stage for dancing/watching up close.

This is a lovely old theater, and most of the seats are excellent. The last two times we went there, though, there was a bad smell.
