Food - dont know as we left before getting a chance to eat. Service - Indifferent and incompetent. Management - Doomed. How anyone could leave their business in the hands of that staff Ill never know. Arrived at 5:00 with plans to see a 7:00 show at the Zeiterion. Notified "server" up front of our time budget and after 10 minutes of neglect, finally placed food and drink orders or so we thought; its possible that never happened. After another 20 minutes of neglect, went to bar to fetch our own drinks. No apology, no change in service. There was only one server working which is understandably difficult, but she kept stopping to seat even more people, filling the restaurant to capacity, thus, worsening the situation. A well intended bartender (only other person there) jumped in to help but only generated more chaos as now newly seated customers are getting service and those waiting for a very long time were being ignored. After another 15 minutes of pure horror as we watched the increasingly uncomfortable faces of similarly trapped customers around us, we expressed our displeasure and left. When we expressed our displeasure, she gave us a blank look, no apology whatsoever- clearly didnt care.

I give cork three stars before, Im moving it up to four stars now. I have sampled some of the seafood and small plates in the restaurants in other locations in New Bedford and cork stands out in New Bedford . The Taste and balance of the food offerings the friendliness of the bartenders, the Cozy setting, actually one of the best places Ive seen in New Bedford. Definitely worth 4 stars. It is a little hard to get to and hard to park but a little walking will solve that problem for you. because it was overall a great place.. Great bartending staff, friendly service. Some of the entrees are delicious others are okay. Prices are up there but about normal for the area. My favorite is the scallops which are perhaps the freshest thing on the menu since the scallop boats pull in approximately 100 feet away. The place is a little hard to drive to but the valet parking solve that problem for you. This is one of my go-to places.

We went there this past Friday for my birthday. 1st thing that happened we got the wrong drinks. Then the waitress brings out part of my boyfriends meal and informs me that they ran out of the flat iron special that I ordered. Now my boyfriends food is sitting there getting cold because he wants to wait to eat with me. The waitress never offered or said which would have been the right thing to do to take his meal back and have it come out together. Then the rest of the meal came out in pieces. Apparently they were having a bad night everyone around us seemed to be having the own issues. Then I hear the waitress offering free desserts to tables around us never offering it to us for our troubles... not that I would have ordered anything at that point I was just disgusted and wanted to leave! Im giving it a 3 only because of past experiences the last 2 visits have left me not wanting to go back.

Overpriced, you are surely paying for the ambiance and history of the building. Went there for the first and last time for Fathers day, have been wanting to try it for quite sometime. I ordered the Cioppino for $17 which consists of 4 small clams, a piece of fish that was about a 1 inch and half square, 2 shrimp (one of them still had the shell on one side), 2 very small pieces of tomato, some onion, white wine broth, the plate was oops, missing the potatoes; I didnt find about the missing potatoes until we left the restaurant and checked out the menu online and the reviews. The plates came to our table very slow and sporadic. I also ordered the rock shrimp and sweet corn chowder; which was bigger and more filling then the $17 Cioppino meal. So if you are hungry go somewhere else; if you want to pay for the ambiance and history then go here.

As good as it gets folks. This rivaled the best experiences Ive had throwing events in downtown New York lounges. I had my rehearsal dinner for my wedding there on May 21, 2010 and the service, food and venue were all exceptional. We had nearly 25 people in their private room and they served appetizers with sangria, they opened up the patio for our families to socialize, they even opened their slick sound system so that I could play music from my ipod and a CD to allow for the rehearsal. Jordan and Jenny were super-attentive to every request. Then the food came and everyone was stunned at how good it was. Exquisite Sea bass, crab cakes, steak, chocolate cake, etc... etc... It just goes on and on. Definitely recommend for an event, night out with friends or for a quiet dinner for two.

They are way over price for the meals they give you. The plates are so small that the kale salad was bigger then the rest of the "large" and "small" meals that we got. And we saw someone at the bar order the sliders and got 4 sliders and one person in my party got 3 when they ordered it. We also saw someone order the steak there and that was all they got on their plate was a 7 or 8 ounce steak sitting in broth for $20. The food was good, but it was completely over priced.

Would absolutely not recommend having a function in Corks private room. Extremely poor service, embarrassing small amount of food for paid guests and highly overpriced. I have had functions there in the past and would never do so again. Stick to another restaurant where you actually get what you pay for and have reputable service. Extremely disappointed.

This is a great place to stop at before or after a show. You can get small plates for eating light or many small plates to fill you up with a lot of different things. Wine choices are very good as well. Great place for a casual date in a sophisticated environment. Brings back fond memories of Barcelona

Cork is amazing! Can i say they have the best scallop plate I have ever tasted! The wine selection is unreal and the atmosphere is perfect for a date or for a dinner with apps and drinks with friends. Love it! Kelsey Hill

Decent food. More of an older crowd, quiet most of the time, some live music. Ive been a couple of times, only once was I upset when they didnt have two things I wanted on the menu.

Absolutely delicious selection of tapas and wine. My favorites are the cheese platter and the seared tuna. It just pays to bear in mind that tapas are never cheap.

Went on a Friday night with a few friends, nice place with upstairs and downstairs but was a little to crowded for my taste. Drinks were fairly priced.
