Id Google it-great idea tho! Your peeps would LOVE! *4+ Separated DOG(I bring my cat) Parks all next to each other- its like VENNIS BEACH FOR DOGS, so rad. Different size areas, some grass/dirt/both/trees/obstacle structures! Never seen anything like it & I lived in SoCal. Mad Love & Gratitude Gloucester Dog Park! *Sunrise/A.M Sun-Gazing is lovely and peaceful at larger beach in the a.m when tide is out (at least it was when I went) *Sunsets is epic on the rocks. Youll see *if your tired of Adult-ing, this is the perfect place to go out of your mind and back into your heart. (IMAGINATION is creation. Look at the grass, dirt, trees, beach, sand, birds, salty blue living thing- how little YoU @ age 6 would of looked at it. What would you of IMAGINED? Nice. Go THERE :) Let your FEELINGs guide you. Choose what excites YoU most ;) you can do it. *a frickin Castle is part of the skyline *you can tour the "medieval" castle yourself until 3:30pm Tuesday thru Friday I believe. Its 5 mins down the road. Google "Hammond Castle" *fabulous huge wide open modern playground *Annd... The greatest "Old School" playground Ev a hh. (Magically- (of course) this happens to be an EXACT REPLICA OF MY CHILDHOOD PLAYGROUND circa 1985 In LIMERICK, IRELAND (Europe). Unreal hah! *biggest Giant rock you can climb plus endless more *a zillion natural stairs cases winding, twisting, in around and about the whole magical land *list never ends! Heaven on EARTH!

Lots of rocks to climb, a huge park with a couple of small beaches, playground equipment for the kids, decent public restrooms and the limited parking is fairly priced compared to other area beaches. On the downside, you need to use caution going barefoot. They really dont comb or keep the beaches very well at all and theres broken glass. I didnt see a lot of it, but there was some. It, combined with the other attractions found in Gloucester, make for a nice day trip. If you arrive early like we did, check out Zekes place at 66 E. Main St. The food was pretty good, there and its close to the park.

For just $15.00 to park, I definitely got a lot for my money. Half moon beach was serene, the water was very warm, and welcoming, with no sign of any large waves, allowing for worry free swimming. My friends and I snagged a wonderful spot under the shade of some large oak trees, saving us from having to tote a clumsy beach umbrella. Lifeguards are highly attentive so no horseplay is allowed which suits me just fine. Cant have such goodness at a pricey beach. Wonderful take, a must visit place. Its now a favorite destination in my GPS. :)

Beautiful park overlooking gloucester harbor, cannons for navel defense from our countrys early years still stand there. Lots of open space with a dog park, large play ground, gloucester welcoming center, half moon beach, and a small restaurant and ice cream place. Oh did i mention a second beach, fishing spots, volley ball courts, picnic benches, fire places, charcoal grilling stations and 2 baseball fields. Its a sweet place; check it out!

A very historically significant seaside park with some of the best views of Gloucester harbor. Besides playground lots of boulders for kids to explore and an old fort with real cannons to play on. Half Moon Beach is small, secluded and safe for swimming, Cressys is a little bigger but pebbl, Park hosts live music and events in the summer.

Ive been adventuring here since a kid and now I bring my own kids too; one of our favorite family places. Stage Fort in Gloucester Ma has two great beaches for swimming, an awesome kids park, and even a dog park. Rocks for climbing, paths to explore, and beautiful views. I always loved watching the fishing boats coming and going.

Beautiful picnic area, great views of the ocean. Parking cost $15.00 for the day. The beach is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the park. Charcoal and gas grills allowed. A bit of a walk from the parking area to the picnic grounds. There are public restrooms and an ice cream shop nearby.

This is a gorgeous place, if you arent local and dont have a beach sticker then get there early, but there is coastline to traverse, rocks to climb, a small sandy beach and a slightly larger rocky one, and in season the Cupboard restaurant has great burgers and seafood as well.

Really a great community space. Lots of events here including car shows, farmers markets, and giant craft fairs. The dog park is great, the views are great, and even the parking is great. Really a huge asset for Gloucester.

This park is a community hot-spot for good times and good food. With a small shack near the baseball diamond and a playground on the top of the hill; Stage fort has become a staple to all Gloucester regulars and locals.

Nice view and picnic locations for grilling and picnics. Awesome parks for children and a little beach for everyone. Only caution is the bathrooms they get disgusting so get in there early before they get gross.

Very nice park. It is on an elevation overlooking the ocean. On the 4th of July it was very busy so we parked near the Fishermans Statue. Spent a few hours walking the park, the beach and the neighborhood.

Big park. Tiny beach. Got sent here are wingaersheek beach parking lot filled up. Def not a good substitute, esp with kids who love to play in the sand. Better off trying Good Harbor beach or going home

Great park with beautiful views. Getting in and out on the one road is tough, especially when theres traffic. Parking prices are a little steep but worth it. Can even grab a shuttle to the nearby beaches.
