We went to the Narrows last evening to see the legendary Johnny Winters. I have been there several times and have always enjoyed my experience. The galleries are wonderful with some great local artists. The opening act ( JW BUSH from Canada) was terrific. Johnny Winters was very disappointing. He was great.(guitar playing tight band all excellent) but the sound production was terrible. It was too loud and I could not hear the vocals at all. I have looked forward to this show for many months and at one point almost walked out because of the poor sound production.

The Narrows is just the best place around to see a show. They have lots of varied music for reasonable prices and its great to be in a room with just simply a bunch of music lovers. The audiences tend to be a little on the "mature" side. Going here is a social event. Youll end up talking with folks and making new friends. BYOB and food makes it even more fun and Ive never seen anyone who overindulged. Every city should have a Narrows!

Great place to enjoy some live music!!! Even better since the a/c upgrade! Bring your own food and drinks. Get a membership and you can reserve a table. Otherwise its general admission and youll be standing in line. But theres really not a bad seat in the house! The staff is very accommodating and nice! Definitely a hidden jewel...but gaining popularity!

I saw one of the most fabulous folk singers I have ever seen in my life there! Her name was Jordan Renzi, and something about the venue went very well with her soft, sultry voice and her beautiful songs. If they keep surprising me with such amazing artists as Ms. Renzi, I would go again!

Small venue, great acoustics, respectful audience and FABULOUS music. We saw the Jayhawks on 4/19 and Dave Alvin on 4/20. Both spectacular in their own ways. Wish I didnt live 2 hours away.

A Little Gem in Fall River, Ma. There is not a bad seat in the house. Atmosphere and vibe is awesome! This venue is a BYOB and you can have outside food delivered right to you.

The art is overpriced but perhaps theyre willing to negotiate. The gallery is nice for the area and is in a nice location. One should stop for a visit if in the area.
