Im reducing the star rating to 2 stars, because the last several times ive been here the djs have been absolute trash. Theyre one trick ponies with generic electronic screeching. Listen to them for 15 minutes, and youve heard their entire pitiful repertoire. You really need to drink a lot before you get here though. Me and my date made the mistake of coming here completely sober, and we each had 4 drinks here, and we were barely even buzzed. The mixed drinks are weak and $12, and the beers are tiny 12 oz bottles for $7, and the selection is poor - all stereotypical pisswaterbeer. Theres no draft beer available. On Saturdays, if you get here before 10:30 as a guy, or 11:30 as a girl, there is no cover; Coat check is also technically free, but they should probably be given a buck tip. Bartenders will dishonestly overcharge your credit card, if they dont think you tipped them enough. I gave out immediate cash tips that night a few times when a bartender took my order very quickly or I was at the opposite side of the bar and they had to go to the other side to charge my card. So, my tip at the end was lower than the closing bartender expected, since I deducted my cash tips from the end tip at the end of the night. I checked my card online the next day because of his reaction, and sure enough I was charged 3 dollars more to my card than I actually signed for. Im going to charge it back, but lesson is dont give these guys your card.

Im new to Boston and I invited my sister to come for the weekend. We went to whisky Saigon and initially had a wonderful time, but then at the dance floor I had put my empty drink on a table that later I realized was a special table. Somebody from this table complained to the staff and the staff physically forced my sister and I out of the club. Since I needed my wool coat, there were three security guards guarding me, preventing me from moving and threatening me with forceful statements. My sister and I are scientists and completely non-threatening, however, the staff felt compelled to be forceful with us and kick us out. My sister and I had no push back and we both ended up leaving (given the threatening statements), but it was a very troubling incident and one I wouldnt wish upon anybody. Should you want to go to Whisky Saigon, be prepared to be forcefully pushed around or exited the club. Ill never go here again given this horrible experience with my family.

This club has some of the worst employees I have ever seen. I went on New Years Eve 2017 and the employees were more disrepectful than the patrons. Two of them elbowed me in the head (looking at you girl caring the light up ace card and the girl following her) while trying to get by. If the patrons who have been drinking all night can walk by with no problem then the employees should have no problem waking by guests without elbowing them! Seriously the employees were by far the most rude and aggressive people on the floor. If you want to be told get the f*** out of the way while being hit in the head by people who work at the bar then this is the place for you! 2/10 would recommend. The balloons and dj were nice. The employees (girl carrying the light up ace card and co. were not)

It had been 2 years since I went back to whiskeys & it wasnt bad but it wasnt great either. I bought my tickets ahead of time & got a discount to get which was nice. The drinks are overpriced & for some reason only 1 of the bartenders actually made my drink right & the other looked like she had no idea how to make a simple Long Island. The music was great a lot of house music & awesome selection. The only bars part about the dance floor is the speakers are on the ceiling which is not that high at all so if have sensitive ears I would wear some ear plugs.y ears kept ringing 2 days after I had gone. Overall ok club has great music selection so I was pleased just dont expect it to be this extraordinary club, expect to just have a good time!

Worst staff ever! One star only because of the ambience and music. They dont treat their guests with any respect and dignity. We were not allowed to enter the pub even after we purchased the tickets. This happened twice that we were treated with disrespect in spite of not being drunk. The gate staff makes stories and false accusations of you being drunk even if you are not and even after you are able prove it. They would make false accusations and prevent you from entering the club. They would even charge you for entry fees and wont let you in. They lie to your face about refund and wont even do that in name of some bitter ugly policy. I wont recommend this club ever to anyone after being treated disrespectful multiple times.

If you see this review i hope you seriously heed it. My friend and i decided to come here one night and get a couple of drinks. After drinks we decide to have a smoke. My friend gets back in and i get barred by the owner for being "too intoxicated." I even asked how he wouldve figured and he just gave me "this is nonnegotiable". So there I was after one drink, sitting outside, until my friends come out. Other than unreasonable security -- Drinks are fair priced ($12 for a Rum and Coke) and I would like to give this a fair review but I wasnt even given a fair chance as a customer so I will go ahead and not recommend this for the sole fact the owner can kick you out under any grounds for any reason with no warning.

**Bouncers are RACIST** I have been to this place a lot of times. Have had some good times here. But today I had a purely racist experience. On my way out the bouncer asked my friend to remove his turban. BTW do you ever get checked on your way out! Couple of bouncers started harassing him and asked him to remove his turban. He tried to explain that it was a religious thing. We told them that we were leaving(were already at the exit). But they kept on saying that you should leave and that you dont deserve to be here(3-4 bouncers had surrounded us and were enjoying themselves by making fun of us). This deserves a 0 star but unfortunately google doesnt allow me to post a review without a star.

This place wants to be something that it will never be because it epitomized the term Masshole. Gypsy Bar is a cute spot with a DJ, dance floor, and alcohol going for it. The only way to screw up that combination is to cloud it with miserable service, an ex-high school football player, GED touting "security" team that are only protecting you from having a good time, overpriced (you expect to pay more than usual for drinks in a club, but this was just stupid expensive) drinks, and many lame-o bar tenders. I think this place could be a solid club with different management. Until then, stay away. Youll have a better time with in your living room with a bottle of Goose and your iPod.

Was shutdown by just about every chick inside of this place. Whisky Saigon takes things to an entire different level. An absolutely wild atmosphere, a great house DJ each weekend, ladies you would be willing to throw your life away for and a side library that is perfect for re-connecting with old mates. I must praise all of the staff at Whisky Saigon for making my trip to Boston remarkable. A member of their staff sent my hat and coat through the mail without charging me a penny. I left it in coat-check over night and was quite nervous I had lost my $129.99 rain jacket. Bring tons of friends to this bar and be prepared to get separated through the night. Anything can happen.
