Big, beautiful and attracting playground for kids. It might be of the top 3 playgrounds in the greater Boston area. All the ground is covered by plastic pads of several colors. Here are devices that you usually cannot find in other playgrounds, like rotating benches, swinging big flat-bottom iron baskets, fixed musical-instrument toys (iron xylophone, drums, pipe bells, though the 8 pipes have only 4 tones) in the 3D maze. By the way, the drinking fountain works as of 2017.

What a fitting tribute to mayor that so beloved by a city. A man who wanted only one job and that is to be the peoples mayor. So what a beautiful and lasting tribute to the man with a park that focuses on accessibility for all to have fun. The foam padding helps keep your kids safe and there is lot to do there. A great scenic view to have lunch while watching the boats and ships go by. Very fun modern park for your kids.

This park is adjacent to the Spaulding hospital. The equipment is amenable to use by all, even persons in wheelchairs. For instance, there are traditional swings and swings that offer a platform a wheelchair can fit on. The merry go round is at ground level rather than raised. The park has a few dedicated parking spaces. It is a really nice place to play or just relax and watch boats in the harbor.

The park is a great kids place. However the Harbor Walk really makes this area shine. From the "Sawmill Museum" to the Fishing & Cleaning Station anyone who has to wait for patients @ Spaulding Rehab.is bound to find something of interest. Oh yea & the Constitution & Bunkerhill Monument is only a mile away. ( I walked there )

Loved the park! My daughter was so excited for all the stuff in the playground. Nice rubber flooring good for kids. Beautiful latest variety of swings and other stuff. Parking can be a bit challenging. Thank you to the Mayor for such a great idea to convert this space so beautifully.

Great view and a breeze from the ocean plus very nice and updated playground. And a small store and a bathroom accessible nearby. Perfect location to spend a few hours on weekend with family.

Really wonderful place shows the special attention of the hospital for patients and their loved ones, especially his presence beside the sea, the beautiful new clean sophisticated play ground

Great park for both parents and children. One of the cleanest I have been to and great for walks, scenery of Boston and Tobin, Harbor walk, fishing. All around great location

We visited the park last fall and talked to several families at the park. They said it was the best park they had ever been too. Loved it!

This is an excellent park with lots to do and has an excellent view. The boats of the harbor give the kids another thing to be amused by.
