Went on the Friday Night Boathouse cruise, highly recommend!! Spirit of Boston is newly renovated and is an awesome time. They have Friday Night Boathouse cruises for approx. $30.00 per person they set sail at 4, 6 & 8 pm for and hour long harbor cruise, if you get there at 3, you have access on & off the boat until they sail at 4 and when you return at 5, you can stay on the boat and sail for the other two cruises (all for one price)! On board we went to the second floor. Tables have vintage games such as Jenga, simon, uno & a bag toss (corn hole) game which they encourage you to play. At the outside bar on the second level, they had a live guitar player, a huge Jenga game and a photo booth, (have your photo taken for free!) There is also a dance floor on the main deck with a DJ. with dancing. We had some appetizers, they were delicious but the portions are small and very pricey if you are paying for them, (Ours were free as we won the boat cruise from a local radio station and they bought several of the appetizers for us). Domestic beer is around $6.00 The cruise was beautiful we went on the 6:00pm cruise they sailed just past Castle Island then returned, the city during the day from the water is beautiful, and watching the planes come in and take off from Logan is awesome. We stayed on for the 8 pm cruise, which was very nice, the city at nighttime is a site to behold. Nice way to spend a Fairly reasonable Friday night out!

I brought my daughter and my neice on a Princess and Pirate Lunch Cruise and it was THE BEST outing we have ever had! Not only did the girls get to dress up for a big day in the city, but they got to go on a beautiful ship. They were completely awestruck at the sight of the Princess waving them on board. They could not speak when they first laid eyes on them. These girls were so warm and friendly and knew just how to treat little girls. Soon, my little princesses were dancing and posing for pictures and even made a wish on the Fairy Godmothers wand. There is nowhere you can get this kind of attention from these really wonderful Princesses for any price (and this was a great value) in a setting that is so easy for the parent. This is not a kids day that the parents have to tolerate. This is truly a day that everyone enjoys. I danced a little, but mostly just enjoyed. This is a stress free, lovely day for families. Although my girls did not have much to do with the Pirates because they were so princess crazy, many of the girls did and the boys sure loved them. The next time we go..and we will go again...we will bring a group of friends and make it a big event! A perfect day in every way!

Have to say been going on this ship on New Years for 9 years with my wife and family at 170 dollars a ticket always loved it but new management made it my last time . For 8 year now I always kissed my wife on the top deck but this year my wife spent 2017 facing Bobby "the bar manager" at the bar .why you ask because she asked for a shot .So MR. Bobby decides to lecture about the difference of shots and sipping . One of the other managers didnt even want to give her name .. What a joke...Why the one star?because the only manager in there with common sense Jasmin . I wish I had spoken to her for the beginning . Bobby states new policy NO SHOTS.... ok got it but Mr Bobby why not just say that instead of keeping my wife at the bar with your lecture. Still have the receipt she payed at 12:01 . So with that being said PLEASE ask for all NEW POLICY because you just might be facing the bar at midnight getting a lecture . So thank you for my last and final trip with this ship.

We booked a cruise on the spirit of Boston for the tall ships The price was almost 200 $ per ticket The staff are wonderful and all so helpful There were several issues - miscommunications though that the spirit of Boston couldve been clearer on First .. this was described as a harbor cruise not a sit .. we basically motored just beyond the pier and sat in the harbor ... not to be rude but I couldve booked a hotel room and sat at a balcony Then ... we were greeted by a hostess and directed to a specific table on deck 2 And in the middle of the room No window ??? So we left the table to sit elsewhere Lastly .. the breakfast buffet was small and food ran out This was not really worth the 800$ we spent for the 4 of us

Food : over cooked, under seasoned, sad b/c the ingredients were pretty decent but there is no excuse for soggy veggies, bland fish, and over-cooked roast beef. Service: They servers make money off the drinks you buy... So they focus on these customers. Trip: Nice but keep in mind this isnt like a real cruise where you have common spaces to relax inside. Basically either youre eating or youre out on the top deck. Just be sure to bring a coat b/c itll get chilly. Save your

We went on the dinner cruise, and if you dont like food and dont mind paying $9 per glass of wine, then this is the trip for you! Youd think with what you pay for the ticket prices alone it should cover something decent. The food is worse than a microwave dinner, the service leaves a lot to wish for, and a glass of white wine costs $9! Save your money and find something else to do in Boston.

Purchased 4 tickets via TravelZoo for my sons 10th bday celebration. We werent able to make it then but it sure was worth the wait!! We had a blast. The apps tasted great and the waitstaff super-attentive, especially Pat! My 10 year old spent most of his time whooping 20 somethings at Connect Four, as well as playing table Jenga, real-size Jenga, and checkers!

Great way to see Boston - relatively decent food and just an overall good time. You get to see the shoreline and if youre lucky, the sunset. The boat is big and it moves rather slowly so you wont get seasick. Food is decent. Kind of a tourist trap but its a nice way to spend time with a date.

Food selection is sad. They had 2 Salmon Filet to feed 30 people which was gone in the first 15 minutes and never replenished. Lots of meats but no carbs. Could have really used some bread, pasta, rice, or something!
