It took me eight years to finally make it to Agganis Arena and boy am I glad that I didnt rush there. I was there with one of my best friends for some BU Terriers hockey action as they hosted the Harvard Crimson and were very much looking forward to the game. We arrived to a very nice, modern and clean arena that sits about 6,300 fans during games. It only has one tier and is very well designed with plenty of entry and exit points. No one is too far from the action and frankly theres few bad seats in the place. And despite the layout and atmosphere, we were quickly frustrated as the game started. First off the acoustics. I know that a lot of bands perform there and Im not sure how thats possible. Theres absolutely no dampening of the sound waves in there and it just bounces all over the place - this ends up causing distortion which makes things way more difficult to hear. We could barely make out a lot of the things being said by the PA announcer during the game. Another negative thing, which in many ways ruined the night for us was that they only are willing to replay the goals from the home team and not the away team. I understand that this is the Terrierss home arena by Harvard had some of the most amazing goals last night (including one that made ESPNs top 10 today!) and not being able to see the goals again, in slow mo, on the big screen flat out sucked. I dont find it fair to the fans - we are here for the action and the goals - whether they are BUs or not is to be decided but I felt cheated by this. Do they expect that maybe the away team goals will go unnoticed? Karma had its way as Harvard won in OT on a score of 6-5. All in all, the place has a lot of positive and a lot of negatives. I wanted to like the place, I really did. But then I walked around and despite it being clean and intimate, I just couldnt find myself loving the place. The fan experience is pretty bad although they seem to have made efforts on the concessions, which even serve specials (something that isnt the case at the TD Garden). However they also charge $90 for a low quality hockey jersey at the BU fan concession stand which is outrageous. And worst of all, the tickets frankly arent affordable. I paid the exact same amount for it on Ticketmaster as I would for a Bruins home game via my season tickets. So... thanks but no thanks. At least not for $35 a pop.

First time here and definitely not the last Just saw Marc Anthony here and I have to say it was unbelievable how nice the set up is and could see everything from any seat in the arena. I was on first row but while walking in could still enjoy it from anywhere. Not crazy expensive and really easy to get to via car or train. Looking forward to seeing the next artist here for sure.

There was no elevator to use. We had to climb almost 5-6 flights of stairs. Imagine doing so with a 2 year old. Then the stairs lead us out into the cold cause we had to walk all the way around to enter the building. Then climb more stairs to go up to the event. Just too much climbing...especially for an even with little kids

Im here to see a punk show. Specifically, Frank Turner. The Bouncing Souls are the opening act. This sign was posted. If youre going to host a punk show, please know that these sorts of signs and rules are unacceptable. The Agannis Arena is terrible, and I would never come back. Looking forward to getting out of here.

Took my daughter to seeTwenty One Pilots. I was worried it would be a hot, sweaty (it was 88 degrees outside), packed arena, but it was well cooled inside and separate floor sections prevented people from massing at the front. There was actually reasonable space to breath!

Ive been there for a Dropkick Murphys show. The sound was bad and our bag was larger than the 1x1 as per their rules (13" x 13") so they did not want us to enter, even if they check our bag. We drop our bag to another business near Agganis Arena instead.

A great arena. Relatively new, not too huge, clean and attractive. I love that they let will check you out if you want and let you back in. Great food right across the street and if youre timings right you can park right on the street, for free!

Home of the Boston University mens hockey team, the arena hosts concerts, other sporting events, and the occasional Disney on Ice. Seats are comfy, food is considerable better than most arenas, and theres not a bad seat in the house.

While the seats are a little cramped, watching hockey here is always great due to fair prices, a great crowd and plenty of food and entertainment to be had. There are box seats too if you prefer to go that route.

I love going to games there. Only issue is that they are extremely uptight about the beer sails. If you are smiling too much in line, they wont serve you. Great place to see a great team though.

Nice clean arena with a modern feel...but they dont allow backpacks and have no placeto store them. Some coin opp lockers would be handy. This isnt always clear on third party ticket sellers.

A great view from most seats but they allow time-share scammers to misrepresent themselves at the entrance and charge an arm and a leg for any food or drink.

Comfy seats, lots of concessions options, and an atmosphere like nothing else. Also very cool to walk around and take in the history on the walls.

Not the best college hockey rink in terms of overall atmosphere, but perhaps one of the more modern. Theres not really an awful seat anywhere!

The show I saw was good, but concessions was a mess. Pretzels taste like cardboard, and transactions take forever!

Nice arena, but a little small. Otherwise, a great place for a concert, especially if you have floor tickets.
