For being right outside the city, its a pretty decent park with good trails. The trails are well marked with blazes. Not too long, but nice for a 2 hour hike. It doesnt feel that "outdoors" because you come in view with houses on half of the trail, but if youre just trying to get away its not bad. Theres one fantastic waterfall/tiered rocks fall that I totally didnt expect. Its to the right of the blue blaze trail (I started to the left so didnt see it until the end of my hike). Huge slabs of rock that you can hop the whole way down the creek. One downside is the amount of trash along the banks and in the creek. Lots of bottles and beer cans. I also found a homemade bong and a coke baggie, and its annoying that a bunch of trees and rocks are tagged, but whatever. I ride a lot of the city trails so that wasnt too out of the ordinary. One nice thing is that I only ran into a couple people the entire time. Also, the trail can be a little muddy at points in the spring, but its not too hard to navigate around those sections.

Double Rock Park has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I love going there to Hike with friends n dogs n then to just get away n have some time to think. A great place to teach the little ones about nature. Theirs always something there to keep their attention and in The midst of the summer heat ,it is nice to wade in the stream. Double Rock Park is in the center of Parkville Maryland. Baltimore County!!!!! Not City

Big parking lot. Lots of great hiking trails that are well marked. We hiked back to a nice waterfall. According to the map there is another larger waterfall but we didnt hike back that far. There is a playground and a bathroom facility, but the bathrooms werent open while we were there. Theyre near a sports field so Im assuming they are only open for a game.

I love this park! Great walking paths, baseball fields to play in and a pretty nice playground or two. Just went walking through there today with my family and the streams were absolutely beautiful with the snow on the ground! Wonderful place to relax and spend the day with your family. Bring a picnic basket... There are plenty of picnic tables too!

Beautiful park right in the middle of Baltimore city. Theres always so much wildlife to see, and when its hot in the summer you can wade in the stream or go to one of the two great playgrounds. Sometimes there may be some litter, but other than that its a fantastic place to hike and have fun.

Great place to bring your pets if they like water. It has been a focus of many locals to clean the park up. Over the past couple years it has greatly improved as far as cleanliness goes. Do your part and bring a grocery bag to pick up any trash left behind by the inconsiderate.

Nice hideaway, not too many people and some good trails, most are 3/4 to 1.5 miles but they criss cross so you can create a longer walk/hike. I take the dog here, she loves the streams and water running throughout. Some trails cross water and have tricky crossings.

I love taking my Dog here to walk around! Always leashed of course, although a lot of people seem to not follow the rules.. pretty good sized stream for the dog to swim a little too. And this pro is pretty big for parkville. About 100 acres!

I luv this little place. So serene, in a tiny suburban locality. Great for picnicking, children activities and nature exploring; scavenger hunting and birdwatching. Shush, Elmers hunting wabbits, wolves, wabbits, wildwife, waaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Great well marked hiking trails for people and dogs. Awesome stream for pets to cool off if it is hot. Pavillions, bathrooms, and ball fields are also available. Once I was in the woods it was easy to forget that I was in a populated area.

Great easy walk for me. Getting knee back in shape for more walks and these 2 trails was just about right. Did both trails with a few rocky spots to cross stream and climb over a few down trees. My little dog did well to

Park has many personalities all year, from lush green to full snow coverage. Stream that runs along cuts down through magnificent layers of ancient stone and trunks of trees. Public picnic tables, barbecues, restrooms

Tucked away at the back of a neighborhood, Double Rock Park is a delightful find! There are picturesque trails to hike, rock formations to climb around on, playground for kids, and covered pavilion for a group picnic.

I did enjoy this place, its beautiful. I went with my 2 kids and felt uneasy, a lot of people there from the neighborhood and up to nothing. I will go back but with my husband, scetchy looking people.
